The whole morning sickness part of my pregnancy got worse over the week after I found out I was pregnant, so I had to go to Dr. Maddison's office and she prescribed medicine to help ease the nausea, so at least I could start eating meals with my family again. She was also able to tell me that I was about a month pregnant, and since it was still super early, we shouldn't start planning anything, because there is still a high risk of miscarriage.

I had an easier time of not getting my hopes up because I've been disappointed so many times, but Elliot, on the other hand, had to be reminded almost daily that he couldn't get super excited or tell anyone. I wasn't even telling Munch yet or even my sister, and I tell her everything.

"Psst," Elliot whispered, about ten minutes after I had started to fall asleep. I opened my eyes before rolling over to look at him.

"What?"

"Your phone is ringing..."

"How can you hear that?" I asked, as I climbed out of bed and stumbled out of my bedroom door.

It took me a few minutes to get downstairs, and the person had stopped calling, but then called again. The reason why it took me a bit, was because I ended up tripping over a few of Christopher's toys that he left by the stairs after I had asked him to put them away last night.

"Detective Benson," I spoke, as I finally answered my phone.

"Liv, it's Fin. We need you at the hospital." He sighed, and then I sighed.

"Why?" I yawned.

"There was a shooting." He spoke, and my felt my chest tighten.

"Is Cynthia okay?" I breathed.

"Just get down here."

Elliot came with me to the hospital, after we dropped Chris off with his babysitter. We sped to the hospital, and when we got there, everything was covered in the blue and red lights of the police cruisers.

I climbed out even before Elliot had parked the car, and I grabbed my badge and quickly put it around my neck, so I didn't have to show it off to the officers, they'd just be able to see it.

"Liv," Fin spoke, as he lifted up the tape for me, and I stepped under it before swallowing hard.

"What's happening?"

"A very angry woman came in, her son had died her a couple of months ago, and she wanted revenge." Fin sighed, as Elliot joined up with us. He wrapped his arm around my waist as we headed into the hospital my sister has been working at for about a year as a nurse during the morning, and an intern during the night. It helped her pay off her debt and got her the training she needed.

"You didn't tell me about my sister. Is she okay?" I mused, and he nodded as he stepped over a puddle of blood and guided us to a room. He opened the door, and I ran in and pulled my clearly shaken sister into a hug.

"Cy, oh my god. I was so scared." I whimpered, as I continued to hold onto my sister.

"She was so angry. She tried to shoot me, but one of the other interns pulled me out of the way just in time. I want to go home, but he won't let me!" My sister sobbed into my chest.

"Cassidy, she's okay. Elliot will take her home, and I'll stay here and help. She needs sleep, and you can question her tomorrow, okay?" I spoke, as I turned to look at my former partner.

"Liv-"

"Please. I'll talk to Munch about it. Just let her go, for now, she wasn't the shooter, and you can get all of your information tomorrow. Monique, please help." I breathed, and she nodded.

"She can go home. We'll just make a house call tomorrow."

[*]

We did a walkthrough of the whole hospital, and the body count ended up being 30, but as we worked through all of the dumb-downed medical files that we sent over, the body count went up by another ten, but ten people didn't end up making it out of surgery.

"The last one is out of surgery, but she didn't make it." I groaned as I sat my phone back in the cradle, before standing and marking off another name on the board.

"The woman, we have to find her before she does something bad again." Fin spoke, and I nodded. I sat on the edge of his desk as I read over the board again. He turned his chair around and stared at the board.

Only three of these people had worked on her son's case, but she had killed 37 more.

"There is a woman standing on the Manhattan Bridge. She's waving around a gun and yelling. No one knows what she's saying because she is so upset. Fin and Liv, head down there. Try and talk her down, wear vests."

[*]

"That is her." I sighed, as I looked at the picture of Ally Strong, and then up at the woman who was standing on the edge of the bridge, She was screaming and didn't only have one gun, she had two.

"Alright, try and stand close to something you can hide behind. You do not need to get killed." Fin spoke, and I sighed.

"I have your back, no matter what, and you have mine. So let's just do this."

Fin and I didn't get our weapons out, but we had our hands place to them.

"Ally?" I questioned loudly as we got closer to her. Her eyes searched the crowd that was too scared to move, and she found me.

"W-who are you? H-how do you know my name?!" She yelled, and I frowned.

"I'm a cop, and we don't want to hurt you, or have you your yourself or someone else." I breathed, and she sniffled, before wiping her face off with the back of her hand, and I was a little worried that she'd accidentally shoot someone.

"Go away. Just leave me alone!" She screamed, and I shook my head.

"No, we aren't going to leave you alone." Fin urged, and she quickly aimed her gun at him and shot. He fell to the ground and gripped his chest. I was hoping and praying that he was okay, and when I looked down at him, a worried look covering my face, he shook his head a bit.

He hadn't been hit with the bullet, only the vest had. Thankfully.

"Ally, you need to put the gun down, alright? I can help you, so please just drop both of the guns, and I can take you back with me."

"I killed so many people!"

"You were upset. Your son just died!"

"Everyone deserves to die for what they did to him!" She screamed, before shooting into the crowd. While she was distracted, I sprinted off towards where she stood, and pulled her to the ground.

There was a struggle, and a gun went off again. This time I felt the severe pain of a bullet wound. To where I couldn't quite figure out. I handcuffed her and struggled to get up, as Fin ran over to me.

"Liv, geez. She shot your arm." He whispered, and I rolled my sleeve up and sighed softly.

"Just barely knicked me, thankfully. Let's get her to the precinct and find out what else might've happened..."
