I only had to get one stitch in my arm thanks to the bullet, Fin had a huge bruise on his chest and was sore but he was okay. We went back to the precinct after both of us getting checked out, and Munch was standing outside of his office. Even before we could go to our desk, he was yelling our names.

"Okay, Captain, we each have minor injuries. I swear." I spoke, as I took my jacket off and showed him where my arm was wrapped in gauze.

"You got injured, so now I can't have you talk to Ally Strong."

"No, we still-"

"No, because she shot you both. That is attempted murder of two police officers. I need you both to go home. It'll be a paid leave for the week, or until we are done investigating the case and it goes to court."

"J-"

"Olivia, I said go."

[*]

When I got home, I heard Cynthia crying from outside. I quickly got out of my car and ran up the stairs and into the apartment above the garage. I opened the door and saw my sister laying in the middle of the living room. She was laying in the fetal position and was sobbing loudly and painfully.

"Cy? Sweetie?" I asked, as I quickly went to where she was laying. I sank down onto the floor next to her and gently ran my fingers through her messy brown hair.

"I could've died, Liv!" She screamed, as she quickly sat up and hugged me tightly. I cringed a little as she gripped my arm. I ran my hands over her back and frowned deeply.

"I know. But Cy, you didn't die. You are here, and I know you are scared to death, but you'll be okay."

"Did you find her? Where was she? Did she hurt anyone else?" Cynthia asked, and I frowned.

"She was standing on the Manhattan Bridge. She was shooting into a crowd, and she shot me and my partner..."

"She shot you?!" Cynthia screamed, as she stood and quickly looked me over.

"I'm okay, Cy. I swear. Now, let's go get something to drink and eat. I'm starving."

"How are you starving? I feel like I'm going to get sick?!"

"It's the nerves and stuff. But you are safe now, and I have a gun. I'll shoot anyone that tries to hurt you. You are my sister and my best friend."

"I love you Liv, please don't leave me... please."

Elliot came home after picking Christopher up from school, and he found me in our bedroom, Cynthia sleeping with her head on my lap. He examined what was happening, and since he couldn't figure it out, he had to ask.

"What's happening?"

"She's having a really had time with the whole shooting thing... and I was shot and she found out..."

"You were shot?!" He whispered as loudly as he could.

"I'm okay. I swear. I'm off of work until the case is over with."

"The baby?" He asked, and I quickly shushed him.

"No one needs to know yet. But I told my nurse, and since I wasn't bleeding, they don't think anything happened to it. I was shot in my arm."

"Why didn't you call me?"

"Because I wasn't hurt really. I'm okay and Fin is too. So, why don't you go down and get Chris to start his homework. I'll be down once my legs wake up, okay?"

"Promise me that whenever you get hurt again, or if you feel like you might be losing the baby, you tell me, okay?"

"Okay, I promise."

[*]

Cynthia slept on the couch in our living room that night, and was having horrible nightmares the whole night. Once she managed to fall asleep after one of the nightmares, Elliot carried her upstairs. He laid her in our bed, and she slept on my side, while I laid between them.

"This is just like when you had PTSD after that douche bag hurt you." Elliot whispered into my neck.

"The nightmares are the same, but it's still different. She was literally almost shot. I was just an idiot."

"But you are my idiot. My adorable, amazing, and caring idiot." He smiled, and I smiled also. I rolled over and wrapped my arms around his body and kissed him deeply.

"She may be sleeping now, since she's near us. Lets get some sleep, because soon we will probably have another person in this bed, if Christopher is sleeping like he has been."

Elliot kissed me a few more times before we fell asleep, but then a few minutes later, Christopher came in and snuggled down right next to me.

[*]

"Alright, get your shoes on mister." I spoke, as I lifted Christopher from his chair. He sighed as he stumbled off to get his shoes on. I turned around and started to make his lunch, as Cynthia came downstairs. Elliot was already at work, so when I went to take Christopher for school, I didn't know if I should leave her here alone or not.

"Hey." She yawned, and I smiled a bit.

"Hey. How did you sleep?"

"I slept okay, I'm just wondering how I managed to get in your bed last night..."

"Elliot carried you up there after your nightmares."

"Oh... so I shared a bed with you and your husband..."

"And your nephew. He came in like usual to sleep. So, how are you feeling?"

"I'm feeling okay. I'm tired and a little hungry."

"Well, do you want to eat? I have to take Chris to school, and then I can come back here."

"Can we just get something on the way home? I don't want to be here alone."

"Yeah, I think we can do that. Then I'm heading to see Mom. Wanna come?"

"I guess." She whispered.

Christopher came running into the room, his eyes wide as he smiled.

"I tied my shoes all by myself, Momma!"

"I'm so proud of you, Chrissy. Why don't you go and grab your bag and we can leave as soon as I can get your lunch packed."

"Okay! Morning Auntie Cy!"

[*]

Cynthia and I went to the prison our mother was at, and after getting patted down, we went back and waited in a visitor room.

"So, is this the second time you have been here?"

"Yeah, she liked it when I came here earlier. I think that she's good here, like other than it being prison. She's good being in a place where she can focus on getting better, instead of getting worse on the streets."

"Do you think that she'll be happy to see me?"

"She loves us both, and I know that she misses you, Cy."

"I hope... Here she is."
