I started at the brunette, as she looked at me with wide brown eyes. The same brown eyes that I have. She swallowed hard, before forcing a smile.
"Olivia. What are you doing here?" She questioned, my sister and boyfriend looked at me, their faces covered in confusion.
"Why are you at my father's apartment? Huh? Why the hell are you anywhere near him? The restraining order is supposed to cover everyone in my father, including my father!" I yelled, and as I stepped forward to shove the stupid, selfish bitch backwards, my father came to the door.
"Kids!" He exclaimed, and then he saw the expression on my face.
"Olivia?" He questioned, and I pointed at Serena, my hand shaking like crazy.
"Why is Serena here? Why is she freaking here?!" I yelled, as Elliot grabbed my arm and pulled me to his side.
"Liv-" He started, and I shook my head.
"She's the bad guy! Dad! I know you lost Mom and all, but having a drunk, abusive, selfish bitch here with you isn't right!" I spat, and he quickly slapped me, and I could feel blood on my lip, and the taste of metal in my mouth.
"Don, lets go inside. Calm down a bit." Serena breathed, as she ran her hand over his back, and leaned up to kiss his lips. He was still staring at me, so much hate in his eyes as he looked me over. This isn't my father anymore. My father knew what Serena did to me, and everyone knows that if my mother wanted him to move on, moving on and sleeping with Serena isn't the best choice.
"How dare you?!" I screamed, as Elliot and Cynthia quickly pushed me down the hall, as a string of angry and profane insults flowed from my mouth.

I sat on the curb in front of the car, as I held my sleeve to my lip. It was split wide open, and blood was flowing quickly from it.
"You need to be seen by a doctor, Liv. Come on. Get in the car." Elliot spoke, as he handed me a towel. I shook my head.
"No. I'm not going to the fucking hospital, Elliot." I spat, as I stood and turned around. I spit blood onto the grass, before turning back to look at him.
"Liv, this has gotta stop. I know that you hate what's happening, but you might need a stitch to keep your lip closed. So can you just do this for me? Please?" He begged, and I frowned before nodding slowly.
"Yeah, okay." I breathed, before getting into the car. Cynthia handed me some tissues, and I pressed them to my lip before sighing.
"So that's your Mom?" She questioned, and I sighed.
"That's my Serena." I replied slowly, before leaning my head against the window as Elliot drove to the nearest hospital.

The doctor asked what happened to me, because my face had a bruise that looked exactly like my father's hand, wedding band and all. But I just told them that it is none of their damn business. I wasn't going to be like Serena. I wasn't going to be someone of my family into jail just because I'm angry.
As soon as Elliot pulled the car around so I could get in with Cynthia, I saw my father standing against his car, Serena was sitting in the front seat with her eyes focusing on a book.
"What are you doing here?" I asked, as I shut the door and walked towards him. He shoved his hands into his jacket and swallowed hard.
"Liv, I love her." He spoke, and my eyes went wide.
"You love Serena?" I questioned, my chest tightening as I spoke those words.
"For the first time since I lost your mother, I'm happy. I never did expect to find Serena and love her. But it has happened. I love her so much." He spoke, and I swallowed hard.
"Dad, you don't love her. She isn't good. She's toxic." I frowned.
"She is amazing. So much like you." He spoke, and tears streamed down my cheeks.
"I'm nothing like her. Never say that again. You know that the one thing I've always tried to do was not be like her. I've everything to prevent becoming Serena Benson." I whispered, before turning to walk towards the car.
"Okay, so I guess I was wrong. Serena is way better than you! You may be an adult now, but you are such a child! Don't expect me to help out anymore. You and Cynthia are cut off as of right now. And the items your mother left you, I want them returned or I'll call the police!" He yelled, and I stumbled a bit as I stepped over the curb. My eyes were full of tears, and I felt like everything was falling apart.
Not only was my mother dead, my father didn't want anything to do with me. He's too busy focusing on the latest whore, my mother.

Elliot parked at a truck stop, and we slept in the car. We had a station wagon for this trip, his older brother's. So Elliot and I were laying in the back cuddled together, and Cynthia laid on the seat in front of us. She was snoring softly, but Elliot was still awake because I was still awake. Because I was still crying quietly.
"You and I can get a place together. Cynthia can live with us too. You two will be okay, I promise. I'll do everything in my power to make sure I don't break that promise." Elliot whispered into my hair, as I wiped a tear from my cheek.
"How is he willing to throw his only daughters away, for Serena? She isn't anything special." I whispered, as I leaned closer to him.
"He's lost, Livvie. He's just lost his wife. And now he's searching for something that can resemble what he had before." He spoke, and I looked up at Elliot.
"If we don't die together, I want you to move on, but not in the way he did." I whispered, and Elliot shook his head.
"I'm dying before you. You gotta take care of our kids." He spoke, and I swallowed hard.
"I want my parents back." I whimpered, as he held me even closer.
