She looked around the crowded room wondering where Tre was; with him she felt safe and comfortable. Without Tre beside her, she was self-conscious and felt like bait in a room full of predators. That is when she felt his hand on her arm. "You okay?" He buried his face into the crook of her neck, "Yeah." She said, uncertainly. "I'm just not used to so many people looking at me." He smiled at her remark. "That is because you look gorgeous tonight." He told her. "Besides, they're all staring at me because their jealous that you're my date" He wrapped his arm around her waist to show he supported and understood her and her feelings. "If you need to take a minute outside, we'll do that." She wrapped her arms around his neck in return and kissed him. "How lucky am I to have a guy like you in my life?"
