Abyss

"Why did you think that coming here was a good idea!?" Y/n asked her friend, Ava, while running away from haunted trees trying to catch both of them." I wanted to know if this forest was truly haunted!" Ava said. Y/n got seperated from Ava. Y/n was oblivious to know that Ava abandoned her, left her to die. Ava planned this for a few days to get rid of Y/n. Now Y/n is scared and all alone, still running for her life. She was caught by a root with thorns coming out of it near a lake. When she was about to lose hope, she felt her chest become heavy by some type of invisible force. The roots around her small body retreated back to where they came from. She fell and expected pain."..." But nothing came. Instead, she landed on a hard surface but she didn't get hurt.

Y/n's POV

I landed on hard surface but I didn't get injured. What? I looked down onto what I landed on and saw phalanges?! I dared to look up and came face to face with a skeleton. A walking, talking, breathing skeleton!

" A-are you alright, little one?" He, judging by the voice, asked. " Ye- OW!" I started saying but yelped in pain when I moved my legs." Not anymore." I said. My vision started to blur and then I passed out because of blood loss. Before slipping into darkness, I heard someone say," Your injuries on your legs look bad but I can use my healing magic to heal you. I'm not sure where to keep you hidden, safe, protected and warm." were the last things I heard before slipping into the darkness.

I woke up to see that my legs were healed, no injuries and I saw that I was in a pocket. I started to crawl out of the pocket when a skeletal hand blocked the
only exit. The next thing I know, I was grabbed by the skeletal hand and came face to face with the same skeleton as before." Are you doing alright?" He asked."Yes, thank you uhh""Abyss, My name is Abyss." He said." Then thank you for helping me Abyss but I need to get going." I said about to walk off when you saw how far off the ground you were." Do you have anywhere to go?" He asked. My expression darkened." No." I muttered."..." He stayed silent. I was now closer to his mouth. He opened it and I was lowered into his maw." No, please. No,no,no,no, no, no, no, no,no." I said with a scared voice. I was dropped into his maw and I tried getting out but he shut his mouth shut. I was now in his maw, with his glowing tongue. It was actually a very pretty colour. It was a baby blue/cyan colour and it was my favourite colour too. I was still panicking though. He then swallowed me. I was scared and squirmed. I finally reached his stomach. It was also a baby blue/cyan colour but see through." I guess you and I are the same. I'm gonna keep you in there to protect you. Don't worry, you're not in danger. You're also not going to be digested. Rest now, you need it." He said. I obeyed and proceeded to lay down and sleep. It was actually quite comfortable. The temperature was a nice warm, it was soft and, well, moving. You then slipped into darkness.
