A/N: Picture above is the guys with John in 1994 (not 1993 but I mean, I don't think it matters), in case you didn't know what he looked like (though I'm sure most people do).

Y/N's POV, July 13th 1993

It was a recording session today for the new Mötley Crüe album, first album with John Corabi, first album without Vince. The music so far wasn't what I expect it to be. It was good, it wasn't my favourite but it was good... it still wasn't worthy of being the Crüe but for what it was it was a good album from the little they'd done so far.

They'd demoed a few songs and John did being something new to the table, he had more musical capability than Vince instrument wise and was a better vocalist but these things weren't everything and with these guys he didn't fit right.

Mick saw it too, I saw it on his face and the odd time we made eye contact with each other but he'd never voice that aloud, he wasn't a confrontational person after all unless he was provoked to be.

For the few sessions which have happened so far, Blaze has been around for alternating days, one session he'll come with us then another he'll stay home, he was being being looked after by my parents who after thinking it through a lot had moved closer to where Nikki and I lived and were now only a fifteen minute or so drive from us, they'd moved at the start of the year and were now always on hand whenever we needed them, today was one of the days Blaze wasn't with us and was at home with my mom and dad.

Everything was pretty low key right now, the guys had been working for a few hours, piecing together the songs Nikki had written or co-written with one of the others. John was actually quite the song writer and had loads of ideas which I think was a shock to Nikki, Nik was used to being the main song writer but now had a little bit of a rival in John, Nikki wasn't going head to head with him but there were times of John had a lyric change in one of the parts Nik had written where Nikki would looks a little annoyed that he hadn't thought of that lyric before hand.

But I digress, things were peaceful today and it had just hit lunch time and we'd managed to happen over a menu for some food, on this menu was some Greek food and we all just thought, what the hell? Why not?

This process of selecting what to eat would also be immortalised in footage seems as some of the happenings here today were being recorded via camera, the guys were thinking of releasing it as behind the scenes footage but that was a guise they were really doing it to prove they got on as well if not better than they did with Vinnie. I wasn't sure if it would be released to the public or when but the guys had wanted it so I'm not going to even argue.

Nikki was reading over the menu sat on a couch, I was sat next to him, Tommy on the arm of the couch next to me while Mick was sat on a chair about two feet diagonally away from Nikki and John was sat the other side of Nikki wasn't sat there right now he was sorting out lyrics as far as I could tell.

Nik had been reading the menu for a few seconds then randomly speaks up "What the fuck is Jero?" Nikki asks while looking at me for help, expecting me to give him an answer, Tommy and John also look at the bassist with raised eyebrows while Mick just minds his own business for the most part. But I did catch him muttering 'dumbass' lightly under his breathe.

"Gyro." John says correcting Nikki's pronunciation.

"Gyro then." Nik says "What is it?"
