Y/N's POV, March 13th 1995
I'm going over to see Mick, not really for a particular reason just to check up on him and see how he is. I hadn't had a one on one talk with Mick in a little while and thought now would be a good time to do so.
Mick and I did have a solid friendship, I was one of the few people he actually let close to him, I think I knew everything that was worth knowing about Mick by now which I did feel privileged about because the guitarist was very selective of who he trusted.
We shared a lot of similar interests and could very easily pass a lot of time by talking, I could do that with any of the guys but it was an achievement with Mick, he was the quiet one after all.
When I got to Mick's house, I did admire the house a little bit as I got out of the car, not because of anything really, I did just like Mick's house, it's very him, I smiled to myself and walked up to the front door, knocking on it loudly.
Within a few seconds, Mick opened the front door "Afternoon."
"Afternoon." I reply "Am I allowed to hug you or are you gonna throw me out?"
"I make hug exceptions for you, exclusively. Yes, you're allowed to hug me but only you."
I grinned at the older man and stepped forward wrapping my arms around him, he placed his arms around me back and we both enjoyed the moment.
"How are you?" I say when I pull away from the guitarist.
He shrugged "Same old... wanna tear out my spine for being an inconsiderate bitch. What about you? Then again, we're probably in similar boats, your back must be killing you too."
"I've never empathised with you as much as I have since having kids. Back pain is one of the worst things, I know why you're a moody bitch, I can totally relate."
Mick chuckles "See? I'm not miserable for nothing much to popular belief."
"I've never thought that and I'm not saying that, I'm simply saying I now totally get it."
"It's nice to have someone be able to feel how I do for an extended period of time, not that I'm saying I take pleasure in your discomfort."
"Sure sounds that way to me." I say with a pointed look.
"I'm not that mean." The guitarist smirked "Sit down."
I went into the living room and sat down on the couch as Mick shut the front door behind us, making his way over to me and sitting himself on the couch beside me "Is Blaze alright?"
"Blaze is fine, Nico is too and as far as I know the baby is doing as good as it can... everything's fine with everyone."
"That's always good to hear. How overprotective is Nikki being out of ten though?"
"Surprisingly he hasn't been as bad this time so far... he's still watching me like a hawk but he lets me drive still which is something he didn't do before."
"Good to know you don't want to put yourself in a coma this time... are you still hesitant about having this kid or not? Last time we spoke about it, you weren't sold on the idea."
