Y/N's POV, February 26th 2000

It was a new millennia and it had been Blaze's ninth birthday January 6th and Vince's thirty ninth birthday a few weeks ago, New Year was a spectacle, everyone was throwing parties and what not, we spent New Year at home but did have the other guys around the house, and that included Randy and Tommy.

It was a good night and Tommy did get pretty drunk, he was the only one of us that got properly pissed and he did get quite irritating honestly but we were used to him being irritating.

Apart from New Year and the couple of birthday's since then not all that much happened, Vince though had spent the night with myself and Nikki last night, because I'd asked him too, for no particular reason, though the guys did have a recording session later on today so we could just take Vince with us while my parents watched the kids.

This morning like most mornings now started early, at seven today for myself and Nikki and today was a Saturday which made the wake up call worse, we were woken as usual by Nico, dragging Blazer up with him. I'd given the younger boy last night an instruction not to wake up Vince and so far he seemed to have stuck to it. Zeta apparently didn't want to get up yet so Nico said he'd go back and wake her up a little later.

Since being woken up we'd fed ourselves, waiting until both Vince and Zeta were awake before making anything for the kids and the singer.

It got to almost twenty to eight and then Nico disappeared upstairs again, while Blaze stayed sat on the floor infront of the TV, Nico gone presumably to wake up his sister, though, as we came to find out, it wasn't Zarina who came down the stairs five minutes later, it was Vince.

That warning did a fat lot of good then.

Vince came down with his hair pulled up into a ponytail with one of Nikki's dressing gowns around him, which I'd left out for him last night for this morning.

I nudged Nikki who hadn't heard Vince yet being too engrossed in what was on TV to pay attention, Nik turned to me and raised an eyebrow, I nodded to Vin who just walked into Nikki's eye-line and me and my husband smirked at one another and I spoke up.

"Morning Vince, you've finally risen then."

The man collapsed down on the couch beside me, huffing "Fuck off, it's seven forty five in the morning on a Saturday. Quit going on at me like this is late, this is fucking ridiculously early."

"This is a weekend lay in for us, bro." Nikki snorts "Has been for a few years."

"Why?"

I shrugged and answered "Just ended out that way. Blaze is quite a late sleeper on weekends or on school breaks but Nico isn't and hasn't been for the last couple of years... Nico always seems to wake Blaze up and once he's awake in a morning it's rare he goes back to sleep again so he gets up with Nico then they go to wake up Zarina who sometimes gets up and other times doesn't and then all of them wake Nik and I up so now to cut out the middle man for a while Nikki and I have gotten up before we can be woken up. I'm sorry... I do usually tell Nico to leave you alone and did last night, as he's the main culprit but er-... obviously he didn't listen today. Because it was him wasn't it who woke you up?"

"Yeah... then he watched pretty much my every move until I came down which is rich coming from him because he's still up there but I think he's irritating Zeta so I feel better about that."
