Y/N's POV, August 4th 1993

Blaze and I were staying with Vince tonight. Yes, you heard that correct, staying the night as in sleeping over. It was shocking to me trust me but it was happening.

Basically what had lead to this was Nikki had been called by Tommy to go out with him and a couple of other guys then spend the night at Tommy's place afterwards, so I took the opportunity to stay with Vin for a night, Skylar was there too which meant Blaze would have a friend to hang out with.

Nik had reluctantly agreed to allowing Blaze and I to stay with Vince and he only allowed it because I told him he has to trust me, like I'm trusting him to go to a strip club with Tommy. He wouldn't cheat on me so he has to believe I wouldn't to him.

Vince and I had been trying to find a day to do this for months and only now were finding the opportunity to do it and it was lucky we were able to do it now because Vince is doing his first solo shows across the country, he'd done about six so far, he was back here for five days, already been back for three and then he was out to Tennessee as far as I knew.

I hadn't seen Vince in weeks because we were both busy doing different things and it's nice to take this chance and see him and let Blaze and Skylar see each other too.

Tommy had collected Nikki at about half six so I'd left with Blaze at the same time, before we left to go our different destinations I told Nikki how much I love him and he did the same thing back to me, he then told Blaze to be good and that he'll see him tomorrow and that he loves him then we went our separate ways for the evening.

I got to Vince's just before seven and greeted him and Skylar, I was surprised in a way she was still awake but I guess excitement does things to children.

Once all sat down with Skylar and Blaze playing together on the floor and Vince and I settled on the couch- we quickly agreed to give both our kids an hour to catch up then send them to bed and both of them were sleeping in Skylar's room as it was easier that way.

Half an hour passed and Vin chose to go make us some hot cocoa because we had no reason not to have it. Blaze ended out following Vince for whatever reason while Skylar actually ended out coming over to me and sitting where Vince had been seconds ago "Hello." I smiled to her and she smiled back.

"Hi."

"Are you having fun with Blaze? What are you two doing over there?"

"Drawing." She replied casually.

"Can I see?"

"No... they're not finished yet. They have to be finished before you or Daddy see them."

"Okay... well, I look forward to seeing them. How's your mom?"

"Mommy's okay... and Oscar's okay too, I really like him."

Remember that guy that Sharise mentioned when we had that day at the beach, well yes, their date and had gone well and they were now an official couple, I had met him and he was a nice guy and I'm glad Skylar likes him "That's good sweetheart, are you happy for your Mommy, that she found a new boyfriend?"

"Yeah... I get double the presents on my birthday!" She exclaimed enthusiastically.

"I can imagine that's very exciting." I laughed as kids have the strangest priorities.
