A/N: This chapter is bittersweet, especially given the circumstances surrounding Mick right now as this was written at the beginning of March before the shit with the Crüe went down publicly. I've never taken sides in the debate and never will, I see both sides and say let them resolve it themselves without having to hate one side or the other. Hope you guys enjoy this :)

Y/N's POV, February 10th 2023
Since the release of the movie version of 'The Dirt', things had been pretty damn hectic let me make that clear. The film was very well received, and had totally changed the band overnight because it was incredible the amount of new fans the guys got from this movie, a wave of younger people jumped onto the Mötley ship and that was enough for Nikki to realise Mötley Crüe could do so much more.
So, we all sat down together and fucked the contract we signed in 2013 in the ass because no longer would 2015 be the last ever Mötley show.
Some fans were kinda angry when the band announced a tour saying that they'd been 'scammed' and other things like that because they'd gone to see the boys on the final tour when it was no longer the case but as I've had to explain many times the last couple of years, that was meant to have been the last tour because at the time the band felt like it had done all it could even if we didn't want to give it up but now there was a reason to carry on. Most fans were happy the guys were getting back on the road though, it was only fair we let new fans see the guys in action.
But the lead up to this tour hadn't at all been easy, it was initially meant to have been happening in 2020 but because of a pesky thing called COVID-19, that didn't happen. Then same again in 2021 because things still hadn't entirely calmed down so then the tour finally happened last year, for a few months in the summer and it was an incredible experience.
The tour was with Def Leppard, Poison and Joan Jett and it was nice to have so many people to talk too and interact with though we did still keep to ourselves outside of hanging backstage together sometimes or occasionally going out for dinner with some of the other guys, or ladies in Joan's case from other bands.
The tour last year was of America, and this year started the European and Asian side of the tour with just the Crüe and Def Leppard with a few dates in America scattered throughout too, like tonight for example, tonight was the first show of the tour and we were playing Atlanta City.
We'd all met up yesterday and arrived in Atlanta last night, and although hyped as fuck this years part of the tour would feel strange, more than strange actually because Mick retired from touring after a lot of hard thinking on his part.
He said soon after we ended the first leg of the tour that he wasn't sure he could do this anymore and do the planned European and Asian dates because he was just physically struggling and none of us wanted him to injure himself or be uncomfortable standing and playing and we told him that if he wanted to stop then he could and the other guys were more than happy to call the the tour quits there and then.
Mick being Mick though didn't want the others to miss out on touring and disappointed fans because of him and so the guys said they'd carry on but that left Mötley Crüe without a guitarist.
Nikki instantly jumped to a friend, John 5 who we'd known for a while but as soon as Blaze got told that Mick was retiring from touring he said he'd step in for Mick on this tour.
