Y/N's POV, June 1st 2004

It was the recording session with Vince, Tommy, Nikki and myself today, a session I was highly anticipating and hoped it went well. And no, Mick said he didn't want to risk coming it to record yet so was skipping this session and wanted to wait the full six to eight weeks he was advised too before coming in to record, and all the guys understood that.

So, 'If I Die Tomorrow' was on hiatus until Mick has done his guitar as there wasn't much we could do with it until that was out in, the next song we were starting to add too now was 'Sick Love Song', Nikki had started recording his bass for it but now needed Tommy to work with it and alter it if he felt it needed it then Vince was here to try and fit the lyrics roughly around what they laid out maybe trying to add in some rough guitar too like they'd done with the other track but we'd see.

When Nikki and I arrived at the studio, I pulled up next to Tommy's car and saw he was the only one here, Vince hadn't arrived yet, Vince did say he might be slightly late as he had some car trouble and after spending near half an hour trying to fix it, he gave up because he didn't want to make himself any later, I believe he was going to get a cab here because his motorcycle is currently out of action too, and he is in the midst of it being repaired.

He's not having good luck with his vehicles lately.

"I'll wait here for Vince, you can go in and say hi to Tommy." I said as I grabbed my purse from the footwell of the drivers side.

"I don't think he needs a usher this time, things aren't that bad anymore." The bassist said lightly.

"Still, I wanna wait for him. He should be here any minute."

Nikki shrugged "Okay, but I think you're being weird."

"You almost always think I'm weird, that's nothing new."

"Enjoy being a weirdo then." The bassist teased as he opened the car door and got out and I followed suit but instead of walking towards the studio doors I stayed stood next to the car, Nik threw me a wink before he walked off and I smiled looking around the immediate area to find something to look at while I wait for Vince to get here.

Luckily for me Vince pulled up a minute or so after Nikki disappeared, when the cab pulled up, I watch Vince jump out pay the driver and then immediately walk over to me and wrap me in a hug "Why does everything seems to be giving up on me? First my bike, now my car. I swear, I've got an omen or somethin' following me."

"Everyone gets patches of bad luck, sweetheart. Don't worry about it, I'm happy to take you places if you want me too, if you need to go anywhere while you get it repaired."

"I'm not in desperate need of anything so I might not need that offer but I'll keep it in mind. How long have you been standing out here?"

"Not long, don't worry. Literally a couple of minutes, you're not as late as you thought you'd be."

"Traffic was good which is the only good thing which has happened for me today."

"Let's keep that good luck going and go inside, don't wanna ruin it by staying out here and have it magically start raining, then we'll definitely know you're cursed."
