A/N: Time-skip to 2007 here, just thought I'd mention it although I make it pretty obvious anyways :)

Y/N's POV, January 12th 2007

In the last year, things have been great, a huge improvement from the way things were for a while, everything was going smoothly. Blaze and Nikki were a-okay and Blaze spent most of his free time now rehearsing with his band who were actually really good and when Blaze finishes school as far as I believe he wants to start recording an album for them, so that's exciting, a little while off yet but still exciting.

And talking of albums, Nikki had started really working with Sixx:AM to put the soundtrack for the book which wasn't too far from being published now. It was exciting, it'd be hard for fans to sit though, it killed me to read the two times I've read those damn books and I know it's been hard on Nikki to go back through all these diaries again.

I knew the end result would be good and these diaries would be a warning to what drugs can do a person and show that you can have shit tons of money but if you're not happy within yourself and not feeling one hundred percent it does jack shit and all other money in the world becomes worthless to you.

It might also help people sympathise towards Nikki even more because although 'The Dirt' went into some details about this time in Nikki's life, these diaries were from that time, they were each day as he lived them which gave them an extra layer in my opinion.

Also, work on a new Mötley Crüe album has started, it's only on its planning stages right now with some basic skeletons made by Nikki but it's a start, Nik has also taken advantage of the fact we had a guitarist in the house and asked Blaze to play some of the basic guitar riffs for him that he'd started to write for Mick to make them as good as they can be before they got to anyone outside of the house.

Things were quite busy then at the minute but that was good, sitting doing nothing for long periods of time never sits right with me or Nikki, which is why I design so much and take on as many clients as I possibly can.

Blaze was going to stay with Vince for couple of nights, he'd insisted about it actually, since his sixteenth birthday last week he's been going on at me about staying with Vinnie this weekend and so a few days ago I asked Vin if that was okay and of course it was so I was dropping him over there right now.

He'd got back from school an hour ago as it was a Friday and now I was knocking on Vince's front door to leave Blaze here until Sunday when I'd come to collect him.

When I knocked on the door it didn't take too long for Vince to answer, as soon as the door opened and it revealed Vince I stepped forward and hugged him "Hey, Vinnie."

"Hey." He grinned releasing me from the hug then looked at Blaze and hugged him too "Bud, how's things with you?"

"Good, yeah."

"You still working with Nikki on the new Crüe album?"

"Yep... once the basics for the songs all done they've just gotta be given to Uncle Mick to look at and Uncle Tommy, maybe Tommy first... Dad's got it under control though. He's in no rush to do things, besides his main priority is still the Sixx:AM album, he wants to get that out the way first."
