Y/N's POV, March 11th 2004

The last year had been mostly uneventful in terms of life developments, nothing had really changed for any of us, we were just doing the same stuff we'd been going over a year ago.

The most interesting things to happen have only happened in the last couple of months, Tommy was starting work on another solo album and 'Brides of Destruction' released their first album a couple of days ago called 'Here Come The Brides' and Nikki has already said to me, before the album was even released, he doesn't think he's going to make another album with that band but had insisted to Tracii that if he doesn't for the guitarist not to throw the band away and to continue without him.

The reason for this was because, the recording for that album had been a shit show, Andy left before they even recorded anything for it and the tracks didn't come together as easily as they do with Mötley Crüe and Nikki said he wanted to focus energy on thinking of a reunion for the Crüe.

Then coincidentally, someone had got into contact with Nikki with the idea of a Mötley Crüe reunion tour a couple of weeks back next year with all four original members in it. The someone was a guy called Allen Covac, he was a massive Crüe fan, he was a friend of Doug and like him he worked in the music industry and had taken it into his own hands to get the guys back together.

He'd already booked venues, although that was not public knowledge yet, for the guys to play ahead of time without them even agreeing to the tour that's how much he was confident it would happen and it was ambitious but it gave more pressure onto the guys to agree which might be a good thing, I wasn't sure yet but as soon as he managed to contact us with the planned tour and the reunion, Nikki was committed to making it happen and so was I.

Nikki was in almost daily talks with Allen and had now also thrown around the idea of another compilation album along with a few new tracks to go on it for promo purposes.

We hadn't mentioned anything to the other guys yet, the public hadn't been informed on anything at all either, not even a hint, they will be told in a week though that a reunion tour could be happening and that gave us a week to tell the guys and then gauge how impossible of a task reuniting will be.

It wasn't going to be easy but Vince would be up for it, Tommy attitude depending, Mick wouldn't be impossible if he took the hip replacement which was on the table for him, though Tommy would be the hardest to get involved, but if we could just get him to agree to a meeting with the other guys that's a good start. Him and Vince sitting in the same room for longer than a short interaction at some event, is definitely a win.

Nikki and I had been talking non stop about show ideas and those kinda thing but we hadn't properly addressed the willingness of the other guys about a reunion and Nikki had apparently chose today to bring that up, we did need too we'd been procrastinating it too long.

We were sat on our bed right now it was late afternoon, we were ordering a takeaway so didn't need to eat until slightly later which meant we were just sitting reading but eventually Nikki put his book down and brought up the elephant in the room.

"We need to have a discussion with the guys for the reunion and I mean properly talk about it, not just do everything else and pretend like it's not just me in the band right now. I'm literally Mötley Crüe right now, that's just sad... and it might end up only being me who's up for doing it."
