Y/N's POV, January 14th 2007
Blaze had been back from Vince's for about an hour, Vin dropped him back as we chose it'd be easier that way, plus Vince said he had to go shopping anyway. He stayed for a little while said hi to Nico and Zeta then left, Nikki wasn't here today he was doing things with Sixx:AM so I was at home with the kids.
I'd usually have joined Nikki but obviously I can't just leave the kids alone and taking them to the studio would disrupt him and I know he just wants to get it done because if he wanted to do a Crüe album too then working as much as he could in the sessions he has is the best thing to do.
He did enjoy working with James and DJ though and I'm pretty sure he'd work with them again going forward, this band would certainly last longer than 'Brides Of Destruction' that I knew.
Anyways, Nico and Zeta were doing some homework and were cooped up in Nico's room to do it and Blaze had been in his room since Vince left and I was in Nikki and I's bedroom, designing some things for a TV show I'd been asked to be involved with.
That meant I was just minding my own business right now, trying to get as many of these designs drawn and labelled with colour so then all I had to do was colour them which was the easiest part.
I sat trying to get this particular design to look how I wanted it too which was actually surprisingly difficult but I was slowly but surely getting there, it was difficult getting it to look how I wanted it while also fitting it with the brief I'd been given to follow.
That's the only thing I don't like about working for TV shows and movies, I didn't have quite as much creative control or freedom but it paid good and I was happy doing it even if I had to sacrifice some creativity along the way.
I was in my zone when I heard a knock at the bedroom door which took me out of my concentration and made me focus on the world around me.
"Come in." I called out as the door slowly opened to reveal Blaze "Oh, hey."
"Hey." He replies simply and I could tell by his body language there was something the matter.
"Everything okay?"
He nods but then sighs a little "Mom... can I talk to you?" Blaze asks me seeming weirdly nervous.
I furrow my eyebrows, put my sketch pad and pencil down and nod "Sure baby, what's up?"
Blaze entered the room then closed the door behind him, walking over to me and sitting on the bed, I then shuffled so I was sat directly next to him.
"There's something I've got to tell you..."
"Okay, then I'm listening." I smiled, trying not to look nervous myself because that's was a pretty ominous thing to say.
"You've never really said anything about it but dad has and I know he wants me to bring some girl back and introduce you guys to a girlfriend and because I haven't I think he thinks I have some secret girl and I don't... I never have."
"And that's okay."
"I know but that's not what I mean, the thing is mom... there's a-... er-... there's a reason why I don't talk to you and dad about girls... a reason why I don't have a girlfriend and have never had a crush on a girl or have pictures of girls hidden in my room or on my walls... they just don't interest me... I don't-... I don't find them attractive." the teenager admitted quietly staring at his lap messing with his fingers which is his nervous habit "Basically, I-... I'm attracted to... other guys... er-... I'm gay."
