Y/N's POV, February 12th 2009
It was four days after Vince's birthday and this was actually the first time I'd seen him since before his birthday, why? Well, he was at his parents place for his actual birthday and then the last few days I'd been commissioned to design for a film, and had meetings with a number of different people involved in said film to sort out the kinda thing they wanted from me.
Today was the first day I'd had off since Vin's birthday and I promised him I'd see him the second I had a chance, and todays that chance.
The time passed since Christmas had been quite exciting, we'd had Christmas off touring but had gone back out just before New Years until last week, the guys were back on the road next week until March when they had another week gap between shows.
Since Christmas however, Tommy and I had found a chance to book the group vacation for August, we did that last month so that was definitely happening and Nikki had booked him and I into some apartment in Venice for our anniversary in May, where we were spending a week getting there the evening before our anniversary so we'd spend the actual day already there.
And Blaze had turned eighteen and we'd managed to pull him out of school for a few days so he could spend his birthday on tour with us, and he only had a few months left of school then he was done, he wasn't going to further education because he wanted to focus on his music career and Nikki and I were fully supportive of that.
Things were going to get interesting for Blaze soon and I hope things worked out for him but he had an entire line up for his band though now and he spent most his time now between spending time with Alex and band practice.
Me and Vince though were not thinking or doing much of anything right now, we were just sat in his backyard on a couple of chairs, next to his pool on this surprisingly very pleasant February day. Vince with a magazine and glass of tequila in hand and me with just a simple book and glass of water with a lemon wedge in it, cause I felt fancy today.
At some point Vince got up and excuses himself to the bathroom and I stayed put, it wasn't like I needed to follow him. When he returned then a few minutes later I didn't pay him much mind, except when he spoke up as he sat back down "I'm sure that books riveting but would you give me five minutes to show you something."
"What do you need to show me?" I question, putting the book down like requested and looking at my best friend with intrigue and even more intrigue when I saw the little folder he was now holding.
"You know the book I'm working on?"
"The book you've mentioned a million times after getting the idea to do one since Tommy and Nikki released theirs, yeah? What about it?"
Vince simply grinned and handed me a piece of paper he'd been retrieving from the folder he had while I'd been talking, I took the paper into my hands and instantly recognized the paper to be song lyrics "Tattoos and Tequila?" I said giving Vince a look to which he nods.
"Like it? It's what I decided I'm calling my autobiography and I'm taking even more inspiration from Tommy and his book, then Nikki and 'The Heroin Diaries', I'm now releasing an album with it which I'm starting to record next month and there's the title track. I wanted to actually get some song material down before telling you about said album, and I've decided I'm gonna say something public about it soon and release it hopefully next year."
