Y/N's POV, December 25th 1999

It was Christmas Day and it was chaotic but I mean of course it would be, everything about this family was chaotic, kids with Nikki as a father are just naturally chaotic.

We'd been woken up at six thirty this morning, yep. Six thirty on Christmas. It had been seven last year and the year before and Blaze never got up this early when he could finally understand the concept of Christmas but since Nico has properly fathomed that he got presents on the twenty fifth of December he'd made sure to conveniently wake up even earlier than normal, how he does it? I'm not sure but the last thing Nikki and I wanted was to be woken up by all three of the kids after Nico woke them all up telling them that Santa had been and having them jumping all over us at the crack of dawn demanding we go downstairs to see what has been left for them.

I loved each of the kids, equally, I swear I do, they were all great children but honestly, Nico was a little shit.

It wasn't just his consistent attention seeking it was the fact lay in's were no longer a thing anymore, he always woke us up early but he only seems to do it in this house, when he stayed with my parents or one of the other guys then he didn't seem to do it but if they stayed here, he's go in a god knows o'clock and wake them up.

He was strange or shall I say, unique but I loved him. He was my baby. Even if he still had some blatant favouritism towards Nikki.

Other than being woken up ridiculously early and having to go downstairs at six thirty five, and make breakfast for all of us which was chocolate waffles given it was Christmas and that's apparently what Vince makes them whenever they go and stay over at his house according to Zeta.

All three of the kids wanted to open presents first but Nikki and I insisted they wait until seven thirty, and in the time breakfast was cooked and eaten and some TV had been watched that time went by pretty quickly.

While the kids opened their presents, Nikki and I wished each other Happy Christmas and opened the things we'd brought each other which wasn't all that much.

Christmas was always a jam packed day, even before we had children it was, I always took it upon myself to cook and I was doing that again today. My mom and dad were coming over like they did every year and were also staying over. We'd seen Mick and Tommy over the last couple of days and we're due to see Vince the day after tomorrow.

Since August, Tommy's album with his new band has been released, it was released a few weeks ago with not a lot of commercial success if any actually but it was music he wanted to make and that's the important thing, it made him happy.

He was getting back to being like his old self again and that was nice to see happen after so long but I did miss having him around with Mötley Crüe.

Speaking of Mötley Crüe though, Randy has agreed to fill in for Tommy on this album and then tour with the guys next year which was great news, they'd started demoing the new album in September, figuring out Randy's style and how to fit it with them and they should be releasing it the middle of next year.

After the kids had opened their gifts, it was time for each of them to have a bath, and because it was a headache and a half doing them all at the same time, they were going in separately, I started by taking Zeta upstairs as she was the least troublesome one out of the three.
