Y/N's POV, July 10th 2002

Since everything with Deana, things have been pretty normal but the situation has been lingering over Nikki ever since. He isn't massively different and it hasn't totally messed him up, but he's still sad that she hadn't changed after all these years which was understandable.

All the other guys knew what went down and weren't massively surprised that Deana hadn't done anything to improve herself or change her ways.

Nikki wasn't too hung up on it though, he thought about it but it didn't get in the way or anything else in our lives which was a relief. Things hadn't just been disappointing Nikki though, Tommy too has been going through a patch of it too.

What happened? Well, I'll tell you. Pamela had pulled out of the arrangement her and Tommy had of Brandon and Dylan staying the weekend with him and it had been a month since Tom had last seen them due to schedules not being able to match and Brandon catching a rather nasty cold, this was the first opportunity he'd had in weeks and Pam had just pulled that from under him.

I wasn't going to say it was intentional because that would be speculation and totally unfair on Pamela however it seems suspicious to me for some reason but maybe I'm just looking too far into it.

The situation had hurt Tommy regardless and I heard it in his voice when he rang earlier today, he'd rang to tell me he was meant to have had the kids but circumstances changed and now he's free to hang out with Nikki as Nikki had asked him if they could hang out this weekend and Tom had previously said he couldn't because of looking after the boys.

I told Tommy I'd relay that message to Nikki but at the same time I then felt like I had to try and make up for what Pamela did even if it wasn't anything to do with me so I then offered if Tommy wanted Nikki, Blaze, Nico and Zeta to stay over with him, the drummer perked up a little at that and immediately said he'd love that and I was sure the kids would too when I asked them.

Which is what I'm doing now, it has been a hour since that phone call with Tommy and I'd ran the idea past Nikki who was all for it and was now talking to Tommy himself and it was my job to ask if the kids would like be spend some time with Tommy.

I got downstairs where Blaze, Nico and Zarina were all sat doing homework as they'd only got in from school an hour ago, and Nikki had told them to do their homework before they did anything else so they wouldn't have to worry about it over the weekend.

"Hey, you three- having fun?" I say toward the children as I sit on the couch.

"Nothing about homework is fun, Mom." Blaze huffs.

"Speak for yourself, I quite like it." Zeta said towards her brother with a shrug.

"Then you're weird." The eldest states with a bewildered expression on his face "Anyways, you still get easy homework because you're little."

"Don't pull the big brother card, I'm not that little! I'm seven!"

"It's littler than me and Nico."

"I bet I could easily do your homework!" Zarina bragged "It can't be that hard."

"Then do it."
