Y/N's POV, August 4th 1994

So... hi. Since the end of the tour things have gotten more and more interesting, when we got back the first thing Nikki and I did was prepare a room for Nico, we used one of the guest rooms for this and converted it into a kids bedroom, the process was similar to how we'd done it with Blaze's room.

We'd themed Blaze's room around the ocean and he still loves that theme, he's very interested in sea creatures, he still loves Walter and Orville to death and as far as I'm aware, Skylar still has Waltetta and still loves her to death also.

Because we'd themed Blaze's room with a nautical theme we'd themed Nico's room around fairytales and mythical creatures, thinking it was cute and again we loved the way the room turned out. I was proud of it although Nikki did the heavy lifting.

Blaze has started school, it might only be preschool but we still classed it as school because it's in the name, Skylar and Blaze as mentioned before we're going to the same place and had been put in the same class which made them both feel better about going.

It had been a pain though recently with Blaze starting preschool because of the fact I'd given birth to Nico a couple of weeks ago on the 23rd of July, five days before my own birthday. Luckily, to help with both mine and Nikki's sleep deprived asses, Vince had jumped in to help by picking up Blaze to take him to preschool with Skylar.

Him and Nikki hadn't spoken yet, they'd awkwardly looked and smiled at each other a few days ago when Nikki came downstairs not realising Vince and I were still talking downstairs, when they smiled I took that as progress of sorts but I swear to god, it was so uncomfortable. They hadn't seen each other in person in years and after all the shit been thrown on Nikki's end, it was understandable the awkwardness was going to be high.

Regardless of that though, I was grateful for Vince and him going out of his way to come to our place everyday to take Blaze to preschool and back again when the day was done.

Despite Vince being around almost everyday, he hadn't actually had a chance to meet Nico yet, Tommy had met Nico a few days after he was born, he came over on my birthday to check in as I wasn't up for doing much, Nikki had then taken Nico to see Mick the day after that as I stayed home with Blaze, John hadn't met Nico either but I'm sure they'll be a chance for him at some point but today is Vince's day to meet his new godson.

Nikki had gone over to visit Tommy with Blaze for the day seems as I told him Vince was coming over, he didn't want to make it uncomfortable by being around. He still hadn't made a choice yet on what to do about Vince in the band and now wasn't the time for all that to happen with Nikki gone and Blaze away too, it was just me and Nico in the house as we waited for Vince to arrive, I was just watching out of the window in Nico's room holding the newborn who was awake but quiet keeping my eyes fixed on the driveway waiting to see Vin's car roll up the driveway.

"You're going to meet your Uncle Vince for the first time today... he's going to adore you." I mutter to the boy in my arms mindlessly, moving my attention towards him.

Nico didn't look as much like Nikki as Blaze did, Blaze was so much like Nikki it was almost terrifying, he was Nikki just with Nikki's natural hair colour and a few minor differences in facial features, Nico was more balanced between the two of us, he had my hair colour with my eyes but had Nikki's bone structure in his face, he was beautiful... but being Nikki's kid, he couldn't not be.
