Prompt: Kristyn and Niall are married, and she has finally finished dental school. Luckily, Niall had Kristyn to help him get over his fear of the dentist, even helping him learn to love dental work. When Simon comes calling one day, Kristyn gets asked to take on the huge task of tending to the dental needs of the 1D boys, which is always a horrendous time as they are terrified of the dentist. Kristyn surprises the boys by being their dentist, and they are a little apprehensive, because they know Kristyn in a different way. As she exams their x-rays, she sees the boys need quite a lot of work done (Harry a root canal, Liam two cavities filled, Louis four cavities filled, and Niall only his six month cleaning). When Simon comes down to see how things are going, he is disappointed in the boys actions. Kristyn realizes very quickly that she is going to need help, asking Niall, the boys become aware of the fact that Niall is actually a dentist too. This spikes the boys fear too, but can they accept that the Horan's will be good dentists? After the grueling hours of working on the boys, Niall finds Kristyn's file when they are cleaning up, stating she was due for her own six month cleaning. While examining, he finds that Kristyn needs six cavities filled, and Kristyn panics. Her fear of needles is put to the test though when she runs out of numbing halfway through the procedures. Luckily, her double threat husband (dentist and singer), takes care of her. Then they spend the rest of the day cuddling and watching Fuller House. :)
It was that time again, the boys were preparing to go on tour. With the clock ticking, they had many things to get done. Rehearsals, promotions, and the dreaded dentist appointments. Management always made the boys go to the dentist before tour, just to make sure everything was going well, and make sure they had nice white shiny teeth. Unfortunately for them, they always needed a little work done. All the boys had a fear of the dentist, and always reeked havoc when they had appointments. Luckily for Niall, his wife was a dentist. Kristyn found out Niall was afraid of the dentist when she asked if she could practice on him back before she had completed school. She had taken time to help Niall get over his fear, and he wound up having a great appreciation and interest in dentistry. He was still not very comfortable with other dentists, but he knew that he could trust his wife. She was always super gentle, and would walk him through everything she did, even making sure to stop and give him small breaks in between things.
While at rehearsal, the dentist appointments were brought up by Simon who made a surprise visit to see how things were getting along as far as tour was going. He took a look at their list of things to get done, and knew the boys would be nothing less than terrified when they saw that the dentist appointments hadn't been overlooked. Niall stood in the room as Simon scanned the list of things to do. "Hm. Looks like you guys didn't get away without having to go to the dentist after all," Simon mentioned knowing Niall wasn't near as afraid as the others. "Oh yeah. I figured that would be coming up soon," Niall said plopping down on one of the black couches that lined the wall. "We need to get you guys in soon. Our luck every dentist in London will be taken up for months. We should've scheduled this months ago," Simon said sitting the list down. "Hey! Kristyn just started her own practice! She could get us in. Why don't you give her a call and ask?" Niall suggested. "That's not a bad idea. Plus, all the boys know her personally, so maybe they'll be less likely to cause an uproar," Simon said watching as the boys ran around the makeshift stage they rehearsed on.
After rehearsal, the boys all headed home. When Niall walked through the door, Kristyn was sitting at the bar eating a bowl of oatmeal. "Hey Kristyn, how was work today?" he asked as he sat down his coat and keys. "Good! I am really excited! I am starting to get several patients," she explained excitedly. "Well good! You may be getting four more," Niall added. "Huh?" Kristyn started to ask when her phone rang. "Simon?" she questioned as she picked up her phone. Niall smiled and gestured for her to answer the phone. "Hello?" she said still confused. "Hi Mrs. Kristyn! It's Simon. How are you?" Simon asked. "I am doing fine, how about you?" she went on. "I am quite fine! I was calling to ask if you had time to get the boys into the office before they go on tour?" he said holding his breath. "Of course!" Kristyn answered back. "Thank you so much! I hate to ask, but we waited so late, it's going to be impossible to get them in anywhere else, plus several dentists won't take them anymore cause they are hard to deal with. I don't know how we wound up with boys that all fear the dentist so much! Well, except for Niall now," Simon laughed. "Yeah, that was crazy! I will be happy to take them. I'll text you later, and work on a day to get them in," Kristyn said and they said their goodbyes. "Well, this is going to be interesting," Kristyn said causing them both to laugh.
