Hope you are all well! Much love!
19-year-old Brianna, was the sister of Kendall and James from Big Time Rush, so she was used to being around Logan and Carlos, and they had some great times together. Aside from being in the band, Kendall and James were dentists, and Logan and Carlos were doctors. One thing that none of them enjoyed though was Logan's overbearing tendency's of trying to talk Kendall and James into forcing Brianna into surprise appointments once a month. If you knew Brianna, you knew she was terrified of the doctor and dentist, and it was not something they wanted to force her into doing, especially not as a surprise. "I just think it would be way safer if we gave her surprise appointments once a month, she needs to get over her fear," Logan said and everyone rolled their eyes. "Logan, we have been through this before. We aren't forcing Brianna to do anything she isn't comfortable with, and we sure as heck aren't surprising her with them! That will make her fear so much worse!" James said standing up for his sister. "Guys, you have to understand where I am coming from!" Logan nagged as they fought. Meanwhile, Kendall had been listening to the fight they had at least once a week, and had been trying to bite his tongue until he finally lost control of his temper. "No, Logan! We don't understand where you are coming from! We aren't going to force her into anything! We know what's best for our sister, and we aren't going to let you just do whatever you want because you think it'll be better or safer or whatever! That's ridiculous to think that surprise monthly appointments will help! Brianna is mortified, and if you cared about her at all, you would know that pulling surprise stunts on her is just going to make her fear worse and make her not trust us! I'm not going to let you just do whatever, it's our sister, and we call the shots on this one! I'm so tired of you bringing this up every week! It's over, I'm done hearing it! You're making no one want to be around you, because you are so overbearing and think you know what's best even though you don't!" Kendall seethed and the room went quiet. James and Carlos gulped as they watched Logan's face twist into a frown. "Wow...I didn't know you guys thought of me that way," Logan said and dropped his head to look at the floor. "Logan-" James started but Logan shook his head. "It's okay, don't try to make me feel better. I understand...maybe we need to take a break. I mean, all we do is argue anymore anyway," Logan said just above a whisper. "I think he's right," Kendall said still beyond angry. "Okay, it's settled then..." Logan said with a frown and went upstairs to gather his stuff, and that was it. The band wasn't sure when they would get back together, so they split for an undetermined amount of time, and decided to give each other space as they went their separate ways for a while.
Two years passed, and Brianna was still living with Kendall and James, even though James was only there part time. One day when they were all back at the house, Brianna was examining her tonsils in the mirror. She had been having quite a lot of pain out of them, and had been coughing up tonsil stones very often. She kept it as quiet as she could so she didn't have to deal with doctors or anything, but it was getting harder to hide as she was losing her voice, and it they hurt so badly. "Are you okay? You've barely said anything all day," James asked concerned as Brianna as she came down and sat quietly on the couch. "Mhm," she sounded back but the noise she made caused her to erupt into a coughing fit where she coughed up yet another tonsil stone. She felt it in her mouth, and she spit it into the trash can in the living room. "Are you sure?" Kendall then asked as his concerned grew too. "Just a throat ache," Brianna brushed off as she drank some water. "I heard something hard hit the trash can. What's really going on?" James questioned further. "I'm having some problems with my tonsils. They've been hurting really bad, and I have been coughing up tonsil stones," Brianna finally admitted quietly. "Why didn't you say anything?" Kendall asked with a sympathetic look. "Didn't want to deal with it," she said and they nodded. "Well, I think it'll be best if we called Carlos and Logan for a second opinion. You can trust them, plus, I think you need to get looked at," James suggested and Kendall nodded. "I agree," he said and picked up his phone to scroll through the contacts. Brianna's nerves were shot from that point on, and she felt her stomach flipping as James and Kendall went to the other room to talk with Carlos and Logan. "Hello?" they said from the other end of the phone. "Hey guys! How are you doing?" Kendall and James asked. "Good! You guys? How about Brianna?" Carlos and Logan asked back. "We are great! But we actually called about Brianna," James and Kendall said in return. "What's up?" Carlos asked first. "Well, Brianna has been dealing with some pretty bad tonsil pain, and she's getting tonsil stones," Kendall explained. "Sounds like she may need her tonsils taken out," Logan said from the other end. "That's what we were afraid of," James replied with a frown. "Well, how about we come look and see what's going on. We don't have much to do today after work," they suggested and James and Kendall looked at each other. "Sounds great, guys! We will see y'all soon!" they said before hanging up and going to tell Brianna what was going on.
