Niall and Kristyn had just gotten married, and Niall wanted them to move straight to London, so they did. It was a particularly nice day outside, and Kristyn and Niall were enjoying some sunshine on the back porch. They were on a Facetime call with Kristyn's parents and siblings. They were playing and talking about a "how well do you know your friend?" quiz that Kristyn had made. One of the questions was "where would you like to go with your significant other?" and the options where Bahamas, Ireland, and a few more. "Bahamas," Kristyn answered the question. "Bahamas? Wouldn't you want to go to Ireland?" Brock, Kristyn's sister's boyfriend teased. "I married a guy from Ireland, Brock. I can go to Ireland anytime I want to," Kristyn play argued back in a playful tone. "I'm going to run inside really quick, I'm going to leave my phone out here, because Mark is supposed to call," Niall said standing up. "Okay!" Kristyn said as he went in. Kristyn continued talking with her family. Suddenly, Niall's phone started ringing, and it showed Mark on the screen. "Hold on, guys," she said picking up his phone.
"Hello?" Kristyn said as she answered phone. "Hey Kristyn, where's Niall?" Mark said back across the line. "He ran inside the house for a few minutes, he will be right back," Kristyn answered. "Well, I hate to say this, but just tell him that tour has been cancelled due to the Coronavirus getting so bad," Mark informed Kristyn of what was happening. "Oh no! Niall is going to be heartbroken," Kristyn said at the news. "I hate to do it, but we had no choice. Do you want me to go ahead and find new tour dates for 2021?" Mark offered. "I'll ask Niall, and have him text you," Kristyn answered and they said their goodbyes.
"What was that about?" Kristyn's mom asked as she hung up Niall's phone. "That was Mark, Niall's tour manager, he just called to say tour had been cancelled due to Coronavirus, but Niall doesn't know yet," Kristyn told them with a frown. "Oh no!" they all said at the news. Niall had been so excited to go on tour, he was going to be devastated. After a few seconds, Niall returned outside. "Mark called," Kristyn said as Niall sat beside her. "What did he say?" Niall asked sitting up a bit. "I'm sorry, babe, but they had to cancel tour due to the virus getting too bad...Mark wanted to know if you wanted to go ahead and get dates set up for 2021, and to text him if you did. Do you want to and just not post them yet?" Kristyn asked and witnessed Niall's face fall. "Yes," he said and went ahead and texted Mark.
They finished the Facetime call with Kristyn's family, and decided to go inside. Niall had fallen silent since they news was broke. Niall was looking forward to tour so much, and he was absolutely gutted that they had to postpone it. Niall made his way to the couch, and plopped down sadly. "I'm so sorry, Niall," Kristyn said joining him on the couch. "I was just really excited. I was really looking forward being on the road again," Niall said putting his head in his hands. Kristyn rubbed Niall's back as they sat in silence. "I completely understand why it needed to be done, I don't want anyone risking their health. I just wish things were going differently right now," Niall said looking up at her. "I know you do, babe. I do too. I hate that it was ruined for you," Kristyn said trying her best to comfort her husband. "It's okay, we will get through this mess. I'm happy I at least get to possibly do a tour in 2021," Niall said leaning up. "That's something to look forward to!" Kristyn said hugging Niall. "You're right," Niall said leaning his face into her neck.
After eating dinner, Niall and Kristyn sat around in silence for a few minutes. "I guess we better go live on Instagram and let the fans know," Niall said picking up his phone glumly. "I think we better should," Kristyn agreed as he sat the phone camera up. "Hey guys!" Niall said into the camera as people logged on. After a few minutes, he finally decided to tell them the news. "Well, I have some upsetting news. Due to Coronavirus, we have had to cancel tour for this year. I hate we had to do it, but the safety of the team and my fans comes first," Niall announced unexcitedly. "I'm so sorry, guys," Niall said as sad comments poured in on the Instagram Live. The two of them talked to some of the fans, and they expressed their sadness. "I know, guys. We will get it figured out, I promise," Niall said into the camera as he played with his fingers. "Well, I think we are going to go. I'm really sorry, guys. I'll talk to you soon, we love you," Niall said as they signed off.
"I know how hard that was for you, I'm sorry, babe," Kristyn said as he ended the live. "It's alright," Niall said leaning into hug her. "Hey, why don't we go lay in bed, and watch Disney+?" Kristyn offered hoping it would make her sad husband feel better. "That sounds great!" Niall said pulling away and smiling at her for the first time since the news broke.
The two ran up to their room, and binge watched Disney+ until they fell asleep happily in each other's arms.
