Previously: Kristyn cares for the boys and does their dental work. Simon likes her so well, he asks her to become their permanent dentist, and go on tour, but the boys have mixed emotions.
Prompt: (Sorta similar to a previous part) When Simon asked Kristyn to be the boys dentist on tour, she was excited, but the boys were nervous. The boys decide to take it upon themselves to hold a meeting expressing their concerns about Kristyn joining them on tour, afraid she will hover and be over controlling about their dental hygiene. Niall tries to explain that Kristyn is the same as she was, but the boys don't listen. Niall storms out, and decided to call Simon to let him know what's going on. Simon goes down to where the boys were meeting, and told them that they needed to give Kristyn a chance, and to set them straight. The boys call and apologize, and then they wind up really enjoying tour!
Kristyn and Niall were sitting in their apartment when his phone rang in the other room. "I'll be right back," he said running up to their shared bedroom. His phone showed Louis calling. "Hey mate," he answered. "Hey lad," Louis greeted back. "What's up?" Niall asked sitting on the bed. "Well, the mates and I were wondering if you were free for a meeting tomorrow?" Louis asked a little quieter. "Sure! What's it for?" Niall asked but Louis just said meet them at the restaurant, and they would discuss it tomorrow. Niall thought that was pretty weird of Louis, but didn't question it.
The next day, Niall got ready to meet the boys. "I'll see you later, Kristyn," Niall hollered up the stairs. "Okay! Love you," she hollered back down. "Love you too," Niall shouted up the stairs as he grabbed his car keys and left. He arrived at the restaurant a few minutes later, and parked his car. "Hey mates," Niall smiled as he took a seat. "Hey mate!" they all greeted back. Niall ordered a water, and then noticed the boys tense looks. "So, why did we meet?" he asked the boys. Louis played with the straw in his Coca-Cola, and then started to speak. "We just think that maybe...Kristyn shouldn't go on tour," Louis explained. "What? Why?" Niall questioned a little surprised. "Well, it's just..we know Kristyn as fun Kristyn," Harry started. "I think what the boys are trying to say is, we just know Kristyn as she was before she became a dentist not to long ago, and we are just afraid that she is going to watch us like a hawk, and will go all dentist mode," Liam said trying to make up for the other boys lack of words. "Lads, she is still the same old Kristyn that you know," Niall said shaking his head at the boys strange thoughts. "Niall, we are just worried. We don't want the tour to be ruined, because we have a dentist mom on our backs all the time about brushing our teeth, and what we and cannot eat, and flossing," Louis said finally gathering words. "Louis-" Niall started but Harry interrupted him. "Yeah, and we just want Kristyn to be the same. We don't know Kristyn as a dentist yet, and we just really want to enjoy the tour," Harry busted out too. Niall stood up appalled by the boys words. "She wouldn't be that way," he said getting obviously bothered. "I don't know, Niall. That's just kinda hard to believe," Liam retaliated. "Well if you don't want my wife on tour, you don't get me either," Niall said stomping out.
Niall came home obviously annoyed. Kristyn looked up from her book, and turned around to look at him. "How'd lunch go?" Kristyn asked gingerly. "The boys said they don't want you going on tour, because they are afraid of you being a mom about dental care! How unbelievable is that!" Niall yelled. "Woah Niall, calm down," Kristyn said laughing slightly at how cute mad Niall was. "Let's just call Simon, and see what he has to say," Kristyn suggested and Niall nodded. He pulled out his phone, and dialed Simon putting it on speaker. "Hey Niall," Simon answered. "Hi Simon," Niall said and then poured out everything that had just happened over the past few hours. "Niall, you are both going on tour. The boys aren't in charge, I am, and what I say goes," Simon simply stated. "Thank you, Simon," Kristyn and Niall both said. "Now, I am going to go down there, and tell the boys what's going on," Simon ordered. With that, Niall hung up
Simon drove back down to the restaurant, and went to the boys table. "Hello boys," Simon greeted and the boys greeted back. After some small talk, Simon dropped the news. "Lads, both Kristyn and Niall will both be going on tour, whether you like it or not, I am in charge, not you guys," Simon said simply and the boys nodded. "You shouldn't make them feel bad," Simon explained again causing the boys to feel bad. Niall waited at home angrily. He was beyond annoyed at the boys ridiculous thoughts. It took him a good hour to get calmed back down. Just as he was calming down, his phone flashed that Louis was calling. Niall felt his blood pressure spike again, but answered the phone regardless. "What?" Niall asked certainly not wanting to talk. "Put us on speaker," Louis said. Niall did as he was told. "Kristyn and Niall, we are sorry. We just got it in our heads that since your a dentist now, that things would be different. We don't want you to feel like you aren't welcomed and wanted on tour. We were just worried," the boys took turns saying. "Thank you," Kristyn and Niall said accepting their apology. "We are going to have fun boys. I am still the same old Kristyn," Kristyn promised and the boys tried to believe her.
A few weeks later, everyone was packed up for tour. The boys remained a little apprehensive at first, but Kristyn never said anything dentally accept for when the boys had an occasional toothache or something. She didn't hover, or even remind the boys to brush their teeth. They did get way better about their dental hygiene, but that was on their own. They really wound up enjoying Kristyn's company on tour, and wound up having a really great time!
