Brianna was playing around with her older brother by ten months, Josh, and his castmates on the set of his show High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. They were all messing around, and having a great time. That is until the conversation of dentists were brought up. Matt Cornett, a dentist and castmate, was actually a dentist. He overheard Brianna saying she hadn't been in several months, and found out she was actually overdue for an appointment. Josh noticed Matt starting to say something about doing it for her, but pulled him to the side immediately knowing what was coming. "Hey Matt, Brianna is extremely afraid of the dentist. We don't do any surprise visits, we let her know a good bit ahead of time, so she has time to be chill with it. So it's going to be a no," Josh explained to his castmate. "Why don't you let me come over, and we can do it at your house tomorrow? She will be way less scared in the comfort of her own home" Matt said knowing things obviously needed to be checked since she hadn't been in quite a while. "I don't know, Matt," Josh said hesitantly. "Come on, it'll be fine," Matt coaxed Josh. "Okay, fine," Josh agreed. On the way home he broke the news to Brianna, and she became extremely nervous.
The next day, Matt met them at their house. After talking with Josh, he grew to know what Brianna didn't have such a problem with it if it was like playing dentist, so that's what he decided to do. "Okay, Brianna, come have a seat on the couch!" Matt said as she walked down the stairs. "Okay," she said nervously, and Josh came and sat by her the whole time, being the amazing big brother he was. "Now, we are just going to play dentist. I'm going to take this little tool, and poke around on all of your teeth, okay?" Matt smiled and she nodded anxiously. He did it around her mouth when he hit a particularly sore spot. "Ow!" Brianna said when he poked it. He took a better look, and found a cavity as he had suspected when she said it hurt. "She has a cavity," he mouthed to Josh. "Uh oh!" Josh mouthed back. "Brianna, you have a cavity. Would you be willing to come to my home office, and let me fix it for you? I promise it'll be just like here, just with more dental supplies," he encouraged. "I don't want to!" she said nervously. "It's okay! I promise that you'll be okay. I would never let anything hurt you!" Josh told his little sister.
"Okay," she agreed after several seconds of thinking, because she trusted Josh more than anything.
They breezed through the procedure easily with Josh comforting her the whole time, and Matt making sure she was okay, and telling her everything he was doing. Unfortunately though, Brianna took a tumble, and her ankle was very obviously dislocated. Later on when they got her back to the house, Vanessa, their older sister, brought Julia, Brianna's girlfriend and Josh's castmate to over. Vanessa and Julia were both doctors, and they knew that Brianna had a low pain tolerance, so they were going to fix it for her. "We are going to fix your ankle," Vanessa announced as she sat next to Brianna on the couch. After they observed it, they needed to numb the pain with a needle, which made Brianna absolutely terrified. Josh sprang right into action by holding her in his arms and singing to her as they did it. He also even gave her his Build-a-bear, Franklin, to hold because he knew it comforted him when he got scared. After a while, Vanessa and Julia got Brianna's foot reset, with the help of Josh. "All done!" Vanessa said as she wrapped it. "Thank you," Brianna said after wiggling her foot back and forth a little. "No problem!" they said to her as they got an idea. "Let's go get smoothies!" Julia said and they all piled in the car to get smoothies, and come back home to watch all of the episodes of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series and yell at the characters for fun.
