Hope you are all well! Much love!

Niall and Kristyn were very happily engaged, and they lived together as well as Liam Payne, Kristyn's twin and Niall's bandmate, best friend, and future brother-in-law. To say they were busy was an understatement, the three of them were always on the go. With the boys being busy with One Direction, and Kristyn owning her own dental practice, it was easy to get caught up in all of the things they had to get done. Kristyn heard her alarm going off for what seemed like the fifth time that morning. She rolled over and smacked it when she realized that her phone said '6:45.' "Oh my gosh!" she said flying out of bed that second, and running straight to take a shower. She turned the water on, even though it was freezing cold, and took the quickest shower she had ever taken. Normally, she would've left no later than '6:45am' to ensure she had plenty of time to get to work and have everything set up, but she must've hit the alarm four to many times. She threw on the first pair of scrubs she saw in the closet, and brushed her hair and teeth really quickly. She got her office bag packed, and went running down the stairs. "Morning babe! Morning Li! Gotta go!" she said flying past Niall and Liam, and running out the door immediately. She hopped into her car, and drove to work. Kristyn barely had to gather her bearings as she ran into the office, and was greeted by her dental assistants and hygienists. "We were wondering if we needed to call you," Amber, one of the hygienists, said with a laugh. "Sorry, guys! I woke up so late!" Kristyn said as she ran into her office, and got her computer started up. "No worries, doc. We got everything settled!" Lydia, another worker, called into her room as they talked throughout the office. "Thanks everyone! I'm glad you held the fort down, because I feel like I've forgotten something," Kristyn said grabbing her bag. "Phone, wallet, keys, extra scrubs, lunch, that's everything I need from home," Kristyn said to herself as she sat down in her chair, and she tried to place a finger on what she may have forgotten, but was pulled out of her thoughts when her first patient came in.

Kristyn sighed a breath of relief as she finally got a break from work. She went into her office, and plopped down on her seat tiredly as she pulled out the lunch Niall had packed her. "Thank goodness for breaks," Kristyn said as she stretched back with her feet on the desk. She got her phone, and typed her password in. She smiled to herself at the picture of her and Niall on the day after they had gotten engaged. Liam had insisted he take pictures of them, and honestly it was a hot mess, but they wound up having a ton of fun. She scrolled through her apps, and opened Twitter that had a ton of notifications. Upon opening the app, she scrolled through her mentions and realized she had been tagged on one of Niall's tweets in the comments. "Thank you so much for all the sweet birthday wishes! Love you all lots! X," she read Niall's tweet, she scrolled through tons of 'Happy Birthday' tweets and comments to Niall, and saw that all of them were asking what she had gotten Niall for his birthday. When she saw that Niall had replied to one saying 'she forgot,' that's when it clicked, and Kristyn gasped so hard she nearly choked on her sandwich. "You okay?" an assistant asked as she walked past Kristyn's open office door. "I heard you choking," she added and Kristyn looked up at her. "I'm fine," she smiled and then directed her attention back down at her phone. "That can't be!" Kristyn said looking at the date on her computer, but her worst fears were confirmed when she saw it said 'September 13th' in the bottom of the screen. "Oh my gosh!" she whispered to herself feeling absolutely horrible that in the rush of the morning, she had forgotten her own fiancés birthday. Kristyn felt her heart beating in her chest, and she felt like she could cry. "How could I do that?" Kristyn said throwing her sandwich away and feeling absolutely terrible as she continued to scroll through tons and tons of tweets from family, friends, and fans, and that made her feel even worse. She knew she had to make it up to him, so she started pondering ideas of what to do. The whole time she was working on people for the rest of the work day, she could barely focus and she only felt worse as the day went on, and she dwelled on the situation.
