Niall and Kristyn Horan were happily married with two beautiful twin girls, Kaylyn and Irelyn, who were three. Along with their own little family, they also lived with Liam Payne, Kristyn's twin and Niall's bandmate and best friend. The boys were in the band One Direction, and Kristyn was a dentist who owned her own practice. "You know, I think it's time for their first dentist appointment, since they are three now," Kristyn told Niall as they fixed dinner for everyone, and Liam kept the girls occupied in the living room. "Okay!" Niall smiled at her as he started making plates for everyone. "I'll set it up for tomorrow then!" Kristyn said, and Niall nodded. "I'll have them there!" Niall said as they went about their night.
The next morning, Kristyn got ready for work as a usual, and then went into the office. She sat up the exam room for the girls when they came in, and then she waited in her office till Niall and Liam got there. "Kristyn, Niall, Liam, and the girls are here," Kristyn's assistant said when she saw them walking in. "Okay! Thank you!" Kristyn said as she stood up from her desk, and she went out to the waiting room. "Mommy!" the girls said running over as they saw Kristyn walk through the door. "Hey girls!" Kristyn said, and Niall watched and smiled at the sight of his girls. "Are you guys ready to get your teeth cleaned?" Kristyn asked, and Kaylyn got very excited. "I am!" she said, and they knew she wasn't afraid of the dentist. However, Irelyn remained quiet at the question, and Kristyn knew she have gotten her fear of the dentist from her. Kristyn frowned at Irelyn looking nervous, and she pulled her into a hug. "Mommy is going to be very gentle, I won't hurt you," Kristyn said with a comforting smile, and Irelyn nodded at her in response.
"Okay, girls, follow me then," Kristyn said, and Liam and Niall took their tiny hands and followed as Kristyn led them to the exam room. "Kaylyn, you can go first, baby," Kristyn said as she grabbed some gloves, and Niall lifted her into the chair while making rocket noises causing Kaylyn to giggle. "Okay, can you open your mouth nice and wide for mommy?" Kristyn asked after she had put her mask on. Kaylyn did as she was asked, and Kristyn was able to easily clean her teeth with no problems, and she didn't have any cavities. "Okay, your teeth look perfect!" she said, and Niall lifted her up and she ran over to sit in Uncle Liam's lap, and Niall put Irelyn on the chair. Irelyn looked at Kristyn with nervous eyes when she had put on another set of gloves. "You have nothing to worry about, baby!" Kristyn told Irelyn as she leaned her back in the chair. "Can you open for mommy?" Kristyn asked and Irelyn did as she was asked nervously. "You're doing so good!" Kristyn would say periodically as she was cleaning Irelyn's teeth. Kristyn found one cavity, and she felt horrible already about having to fix it. "Okay, so you have a little sugar bug, and mommy is going to fix it, okay?" Kristyn said to Irelyn, and Irelyn nodded at her. Niall and Liam frowned at the news, and Kristyn frowned back at them.
Kristyn got some numbing gel on a stick, and had Irelyn sit with it in her mouth. Kristyn prepared the syringe where Irelyn couldn't see it, and then she went back over to her. "Okay, I'm going to take the stick out," Kristyn smiled as she put her mask back on, and Irelyn opened for her to take it out. Kristyn brought the needle from back around her, and she quickly but gently poked it in. Irelyn started crying immediately, and Niall came over to comfort her. "It's okay, Irelyn! Daddy is right here," Niall said as he held her tiny hand, and he started humming to comfort her. Kristyn wanted nothing more than to comfort her little girl, but she couldn't since she was the one giving the shot. "You're doing so good, baby. It's okay," Niall said continuing to comfort her as Kristyn finished up the injection. "All done!" Kristyn said sitting the needle down as they started to wait a minute for the numbing to take affect. Kristyn picked Irelyn up while they waited and held her close. "I'm so sorry I had to do that, Irelyn!" Kristyn said feeling terrible, and Irelyn hugged her tight. "It's okay," she said and Kristyn smiled at how sweet her daughter was. Kristyn moved her back to the chair, and then she picked up the drill. "You won't feel this at all," Kristyn said, and Irelyn let her quickly drill the cavity out. Kristyn finished taking care of the small cavity, and then she sat Irelyn up in the chair. Niall helped Irelyn hop of the chair, and Liam and Kaylyn stood up and joined them. "Good job, girls! I'll see you later!" Kristyn said pulling them both into a hug before they left. "Bye mommy!" they both said, and Niall leaned down and kissed Kristyn before he walked out. "Bye babe," Niall smiled, and Liam came over to kiss her on the cheek and sat goodbyes, and the four of them went back home.
Kristyn finally got home later that evening, and she was greeted by the girls running into her arms as she walked into the door. "Hi girls!" she said as she got down on their level to hold them close. "Mommy, we drew this for you," Kaylyn said holding out a picture, and Irelyn handed her one too. "Awe, girls! These are so good! I love them!" Kristyn said giving them one more hug. "I'm going to go change really quick, okay?" Kristyn said as she took the drawings and the girls nodded before running back over to Niall. Kristyn ran upstairs and changed quickly when she got an idea. She came back down the stairs and to the living room where they were playing with Niall. "Do you girls want to go swimming?" Kristyn asked the twins, and they started jumping up and down happily. "Yes, yes, yes!" the said over and over making Niall and Kristyn laugh. "Okay, let's go get changed into our swimsuits then!" she said as they started running up the stairs.
The four of them all had an amazing time swimming. They slashed around, played games, and just enjoyed time as a family. "Okay, girls. It's time to go in," Kristyn said as she grabbed their towels off of one of the outdoor chairs. Niall lifted them out of the water, and then they wrapped them in the towels. "Come on, my little water bugs," Niall said as he helped Kristyn get them in and changed into pajamas. After getting changed, they all came into the family room where Niall had turned on some music. They all danced around the living room to the music, and they were laughing up a storm; Kaylyn danced with Kristyn, and Irelyn danced with Niall. Kristyn giggled at her girls dancing, and then they both came running over to her and hugged her. "I love you, mommy!" they both said, and Kristyn was overjoyed. "I love you guys too!" she said as she hugged them tight.
After their dance party, they all went to brush their teeth and get ready for bed. "Goodnight, Irelyn, I love you!" Niall said tucking her in. "I love you too!" she said reaching up to give him one lore hug and kiss. "I love you, Kaylyn! Goodnight!" Kristyn said pulling the covers over Kaylyn. "I love you too, mommy!" she said hugging her, and then Niall and Kristyn swapped kids and said goodnight to the other one. "Night girls!" Niall said one last time before flipping the light off and leaving the door open a little, so they had some light from the hall in the room. "I'm tired!" Kristyn laughed as she changed into some pajamas. "Me too! It's been a busy day!" Niall laughed as he laid down in the bed. "No kidding!" she said as she joined him. "I love you!" Niall said as he pulled Kristyn close to him. "I love you too!" she said as they found something on the TV to watch. They cuddled and fell asleep happily a little later.
