Niall Horan and Kristyn were dating, and they were having to do long distance. It was hard on them to do long distance anyway, but what made it worse is they hadn't been able to see each other in almost three months due to the travel ban that was on Europe due to coronavirus. They did everything they could to stay in touch, which consisted of talking everyday, but with the time zone, they could only talk a little while. It was just unbelievably hard for both of them, because they missed each other so much. It was particularly rough for Kristyn though, because after they got off the phone every night, Kristyn would cry herself to sleep, because she missed Niall so so much, and would do anything to be reunited with him.
Kristyn had been keeping up with everything, and the moment the ban was lifted, she scheduled a flight to Europe. Kristyn couldn't contain her excitement as she got the email that her flight had been confirmed. Niall got notified of the ban lifting, and immediately called Kristyn. "Hey babe!" Kristyn said as she answered his call. "Hey babe! Did you hear the travel ban was lifted?" he asked excitedly, and Kristyn smiled. "I did!" she said with a laugh. "Well, since it's lifted, do you think you would be able to fly out soon?" Niall asked and Kristyn smiled to herself as she kept the secret that she had already scheduled a flight. "I won't be able to for a while, baby. Work has me so busy, I'm not able to get off right now," she said and Niall frowned and lost the happiness that was once in his voice. Secretly, Kristyn had been texting Niall's friend, Matt, that lived with him, and got him on the surprise too. They had planned that Matt would pick her up from the airport, and help her surprise Niall. "Oh, okay," Niall said trying not to sound too upset, but Kristyn could read right through his tries. She knew he was super upset, but she knew it would be worth it in just a short bit. "I'll see you soon, baby! I promise," she said and he bit back tears. "Okay, babe. I'll see you soon," he said back as a tear ran down his face. "I got to get back to some stuff, but I love you," Kristyn said as she was looking at the bag of clothes she had been packing prior to him calling. "I love you too," Niall said and they hung up. Kristyn went back to packing and getting ready.
The very next morning, Kristyn hopped on a early flight, and she could barely contain her excitement to see her boyfriend. When she landed, she looked around the airport for Matt. Matt waved at her when she looked his way, and she approached him, and they hugged. "Hey! How was your flight?" Matt asked grabbing her bag, and they started walking out to his car. "Good! How are you doing?" she asked as they made small talk, and he put her suitcase in the car. "I've been good!" Matt said as they started driving to Niall's house. "How is Niall?" Kristyn asked knowing he had been really upset the night before at the thought of not getting to see Kristyn anytime soon. "He hasn't been doing great. He has been really upset lately, and missing you a whole bunch. He said he was going to take a nap before I left to get you," Matt said as they pulled into his neighborhood. "I have missed him too!" Kristyn said as they got to the house, and Matt helped her take her luggage in. "Let me go look around and see where he is, so you can surprise him," Matt said and Kristyn stayed in the entrance. "He must still be in bed, he isn't in here. I haven't been gone that long, I'm sure he is still napping," Matt smiled as he returned back to where she was. "Okay! I'll go up to his room then," Kristyn said running up the staircase to Niall's room. She smiled at how cute he looked, and she got in bed next to him. She cuddled with him and started kissing him to wake him up. Niall's eyes fluttered open a few seconds later, and he gasped and was startled at first. Kristyn laughed lightly at him, and he realized that his girlfriend was the one there, and instantly started crying. "Hey baby," Kristyn said with a smile, and Niall pulled her in as close as possible and started kissing him over and over. "You're here," he said with tears still coming down his face, and Kristyn laughed at him again. "I am," Kristyn said and Niall pulled her even closer. "I'm tired," Kristyn laughed as she yawned. "I could nap some more," Niall smiled, and they laid back down to nap.
Later that evening, Niall and Kristyn woke up still cuddled as close as humanly possible. Niall smiled as Kristyn looked up at him. "So, what are you doing here?" Niall asked her. "Well, I wanted to surprise you, and I planned on staying for about three months, because I got enough vacation time from work to be here for that long," Kristyn smiled and Niall kissed her. "That sounds great!" he said between kisses. After a while, they decided to get up and get some dinner, and take a walk in the park he took her to on their first date. Niall and Kristyn walked hand in hand as he led her to the place where they were on their first date, and he smiled at her as he stopped walking. "It's the place we sat on our first date," Kristyn said and Niall smiled and nodded. All of a sudden, Niall got down on one knee, and Kristyn looked at him shocked. "Kristyn, I love you so much, and I couldn't see spending my life with anyone else. Will you marry me?" Niall asked, and Kristyn smiled from ear to ear. "Yes, of course!" she said and they kissed. A year later, they got married on Niall's birthday, and Kristyn moved to London to be with him. They were so happy to finally live together, and not have to do long distance anymore, and they fell more and more in love everyday.
