After the very long dental appointment, Liam and the boys were exhausted to say the least. They were currently sat in the car, and they were trying to be quiet so they didn't wake up Liam who was asleep against Louis' shoulder. "I have to stop and get his medicine the doctor prescribed. Do you guys want food?" Harry asked from the driver's seat. "Yes please," all of the boys said in unison. "Okay, I'll bring you guys back some Nando's," Harry said as he turned into the pharmacy right next to their favorite restaurant. "I'll go with you," Zayn said and Harry nodded, and they left Niall, Liam, and Louis in the car. "I feel so bad for him," Louis said to Niall as he rubbed Liam's cheek gently. "I do too. Poor boy had so much to get done," Niall agreed as he turned around from the front passenger seat. "I know... hopefully he won't feel too bad later," Louis said as they waited for their boyfriends to return.
Finally after they made all of their stops, they arrived back at their shared home. "I've got him," Harry told Louis who was still sat with Liam asleep on him. "Thank you, Haz," Louis said as Harry grabbed Liam bridal style out of the car, and lead him into the house on the couch. Harry laid Liam down, and then situated him with a pillow and blanket before returning to help the boys distribute the food. "I hate seeing him look in pain," Zayn said as they sat in the living room and ate their food. All of the boys turned to look at Liam who even looked in pain as he slept. "Maybe he will wake up soon, and we can give him his medicine to help," Louis said as he stood up, and he grabbed all of the extra trash laying around. They waited for Liam to wake up for about another hour before he started stirring around. "Morning, Li," Harry said as a joke. "Mm," Liam sounded as he rubbed his tired eyes, and winced at the throbbing pain coming from his jaw. "Hurting?" Niall asked as he saw Liam's facial expressions change. "Mhm," he noised back, and all of the boys sprang into action to make him feel better. Harry grabbed his medicine and water, Zayn let him lay in his lap, and Niall grabbed ice packs from the freezer. "Here you go, babe. Take this," Harry said returning with the medicine, and Zayn helped him sit up. "Thanks," Liam said as he laid back down after swallowing the meds. "No problem!" Harry said and Niall walked over to give him the ice packs. "This should help too," Niall said as he laid the ice packs gently on Liam's face. "Thanks, love," Liam said and Zayn helped position them into Liam's cheeks. "Do you wanna go back to sleep?" Zayn asked and Liam nodded and turned his face into Zayn's stomach to rest. "Okay, babe. You just sleep then," Zayn said still holding the ice packs with one hand, and playing with Liam's hair with the other.
Liam finally woke up after a few hours, and he was feeling a little better. "How's the pain?" Niall asked as they watched Liam reposition. "Better. Thank you," he said and smiled for the first time that day. "Of course!" Niall replied. "It's getting pretty close to dinner time, Li. Do you want to eat?" Louis asked and Liam nodded. "Okay! Harry made us some soup, I'll bring you a bowl," he said and walked into the kitchen where Harry was making last minute touches. "Liam's awake and hungry," Louis told Harry. "Oh good! Just in time!" Harry said handing Louis the bowl. They helped Liam eat the soup, and then he yawned again. "Ready for bed?" Zayn asked Liam. "Yes," Liam said and yawned again. "Okay!" Zayn said and Harry lifted Liam and carried him to their shared bed. "Thank you boys for taking care of me," Liam said as they all got settled. "Don't mention it! We love to! It's our job!" the boys resonated and Liam smiled as they all cuddled in to fall asleep, and he felt much better very soon.
