Kristyn was very happily married to Niall Horan. They had been together for a while now, and Kristyn was finally in her final week of high school. Kristyn loved her husband more than anything, and when she got engaged, people were very curious of who she was engaged to. Kristyn had told them way before that though that she was with Niall, and of course no one believed her, and teased her for it. After the engagement, the teasing got worse, because she didn't back down from her truth, and people were too ignorant to listen to her. Then, when they got married, they started being even worse to her. It had gotten to the point where Kristyn couldn't take it anymore, she sat by herself at lunch, and distanced herself from everyone.
This particular day, the comments were coming at her heavily, and at lunch time she called Niall as she sat by herself, two things she did every day. She just wanted to hear his voice, it was enough to comfort her and she needed him right then, but when he answered the phone with a "Hey, babe!" Kristyn's voice began to waiver. "Hey," she said thankful to hear him. "Are you okay, babe?" he said instantly getting worried when he heard her voice starting to quiver. That's all it took to make Kristyn break and she started crying. "It's those horrible classmates, innit?" he said and she could hear the anger in his Irish voice, she didn't say anything at first, just tried to calm her crying. "I can't deal with this anymore, babe," she said after a few seconds. "I am coming down there to sit with you, I don't want you to be alone," Niall said and started sliding his shoes on as he said it. "I'll be right there, love. Sit tight," he said getting in his car and driving there immediately.
Niall signed in and got his visitor's pass, and went straight to find Kristyn. "There you are," he said sitting next to her. Kristyn looked up thankful to see him. Niall saw the tears cascading down her face, and he pulled her close to him, and she cried in his shoulder. "This has gone on far too long, babe. We're going to talk to your principal about this, alright?" he said tilting her chin up to look at him. She nodded at him, and he wiped her tears, and kissed her before they headed that way.
"I'd like to talk to the principal," Kristyn said when they reached the front office desk. The lady looked up at Kristyn sympathetically when she saw the tear streaks down her face. "Yes ma'am! You can go straight back, she should be in her office," she smiled before sending Kristyn in. "Hi, Mrs. Kristyn!" the principal smiled as the two of them walked in her office. "Everything okay?" she asked noticing Kristyn's tear stained face. "Not really," Niall answered for her, and pulled a chair out for her to sit in, and then taking the seat beside her. "What's going on?" the principal asked concerned. "The whole time that I have been with Niall, all of my classmates make horrendous jokes and comments...they bully me, I sit alone every day, I can't deal with it anymore," Kristyn explained. "This has gone on for years," Niall added. "My goodness, Kristyn, I am so sorry! I understand that people can be so rude, especially when they don't understand something. I'll tell you what, you are a straight A student, and your attendance record is great, you can be done with school after today. I'm going to wave you from attendance, and all final exams. I am so sorry you had to go through this, it's the least I can do!" the principal said and Kristyn and Niall looked at her excitedly. "Really?! Thank you so much!" Kristyn said extremely happy. "Yes, thank you!" Niall said too. "Absolutely! Thank you for telling me, and thank you for being a great student! You two have a great rest of the day," the principal said standing to shake both of their hands before they left.
The two left hand-in-hand from the office. "I didn't expect it to go that well!" Niall smiled as they walked back to sit down for the rest of Kristyn's lunch break. "Me neither. Thank you for going with me, I couldn't have done it without you!" Kristyn said thanking her husband, and they sat there cuddled until the bell rang. "Okay, babe. I'll let you get back to class, I'll see you in a couple of hours. I love you," Niall said standing with Kristyn and kissing her before he left. "Thank you for coming, I love you too," she said as they split to go their separate ways. The rest of the day was not great. The kids had been pelting her with snarky comments all day, and even though Kristyn knew she was in her last class period, it didn't stop the hurt she was feeling. She just kept trying to remind herself that she would be home soon, and then it would be over, but it was harder and harder to do as they kept on pressing at her, and making fun of her.
