Kristyn found herself in a very interesting place in life after her brother, Liam, and his band One Direction has taken off. They got huge instantly, and everything happened very quickly. She loved getting to watch them perform and do what they all loved most, she was able to have really cool opportunities with them, and she got very close to all of the boys, but Niall in particular. Niall and Kristyn fell for each other quickly, became boyfriend and girlfriend, and eventually got to where they were spending every possible second they had available together. That's why when she stayed back home in London, and the boys (Liam, Harry, Louis, and Niall) were on tour in America, Niall started acting strangely. It had been days, and Niall had barely slept, he had spent most of his days sulking in the hotel or on the bus instead of going out and seeing the city when they had the chance, and he was not talking much. The boys had noticed, but anytime they tried to question him about it, he tried to brush them off with a simple, "I'm fine, lads. Thank you." Really, they all knew he wasn't, and knew he needed Kristyn. Liam walked into his shared hotel room with Niall one day after being in Louis and Harry's room, and saw the state the boy was in: their room was messier than when he had left to hang with the others that morning (Niall was usually one to keep things spick and span, often complaining about Louis' mess that was usually strewn carelessly across the bus), he had huge bags under his eyes, and Liam could tell Niall had been crying. "Hey mate," Liam said as he approached Niall's bed. Niall looked up at Liam with a half smile, and then directed his attention back to the TV where he was watching golf. "Ni, you wanna go out and get something to eat for lunch?" Liam offered, but Niall shook his head. "No, thanks. I ate already, I think I'll just stay here," Niall said barely above a whisper, never breaking his gaze at the TV. "Okay, mate. You know where to find me if you change your mind," Liam said before leaving and going back to Louis and Harry's hotel room since they had went to get lunch and it would be quiet, and also Niall wouldn't be able to hear him, and called Kristyn immediately.
"Hey, love!" Liam said when Kristyn answered the phone. "Hey Li!" Kristyn said, excited to hear from her brother as she stopped what she was doing, and plopped down on her couch. "How are you?" Liam asked as he laid across Harry's hotel bed. "I'm good! How are you? Tour going okay?" Kristyn asked as she absentmindedly fiddled with one of the strings that was dangling from one of her decorative pillows. "I'm good! Tours going pretty okay! I actually called to ask you something about tour," Liam prefaced. "Okay! What's up?" Kristyn asked wondering what he could be asking. "Well, I was wondering if there's any way you could fly out to where we are? Niall is not acting like himself, he really misses you a lot. Niall hasn't left the room, he's not talking much, he hasn't slept much. I mean, he's just completely not himself. I'll wake up at like 4:00am, and he will still be awake, and I can hear him sniffling some nights. He's really upset. I'll pay for your flight out to Orlando, so you don't even need to worry about that. I would love for you to finish the tour with us too," Liam asked and Kristyn frowned at the words. "Yes! Of course!" Kristyn said upset that Niall was so sad. "Oh, that's great news! Thank you, sis! I can't wait to see you, and I know Niall can't either! This will be a great surprise for him!" Liam said relieved that everything was falling into place. "I can't wait to see you guys either!" Kristyn said still very concerned for her boyfriend. "Okay, I'll get straight to getting you the earliest flight out, and you go ahead and pack! I'll let you know the details as soon as I book it!" Liam said excitedly, and Kristyn nodded. "Okay! I'll talk to you soon!" Kristyn said. "Okay! I love you!" Liam said. "I love you too!" Kristyn said before they got off.
Kristyn sat for a few seconds thinking about her poor upset boyfriend when she was pulled away from her thoughts by her phone buzzing. "Surely Liam hasn't booked it that quickly," she spoke to herself as she grabbed her phone from beside her, but saw it was a text from Niall. "Hey Kristyn!" Niall said and Kristyn replied back quickly with, "Hey babe!" She watched the speech bubble pop up, and Niall replied with, "it's so good to hear from you. I miss you so much! I want to see you so bad!" Kristyn sighed sadly as she read the words. "I miss you too!" she said knowing that she couldn't tell him that she was coming soon, because they wanted it to be a surprise for Niall. "Do you wanna FaceTime, so we can at least see each other?" Niall asked and Kristyn smiled lightly before sending back a yes, and he called her seconds later. She was taken slightly aback after the call connected. She was greeted with Niall's hair tossed in different directions, his nose was red, and she saw the very dark circles under his eyes that Liam had mentioned. "Hey babe!" Niall said extremely happy to see his girlfriend. "Hey babe! How are you?" Kristyn asked back. "I've been better. I really miss you," Niall said and she noticed the tears puddling in his eyes, and he was quick to blink them away. "I really miss you too, babe!" Kristyn replied as her heart broke even more. "I'm glad to see you! I can't wait till I can actually hug you and be with you though," Niall said and dropped his head. "I can't wait either! It won't be long now!" Kristyn said, and thought to herself, "sooner than you think." "I know. It just seems like forever until tour is done," Niall said sniffling again, but blocking his tears from Kristyn. "It won't be long now! I have to get back to some work, but I'll call you later tonight!" Kristyn said knowing she needed to pack, because Liam would be sending her out as soon as possible. "Okay, babe. I love you," Niall said upset that she had to go. "I love you too!" Kristyn said before they said final goodbyes and hung up. Kristyn sighed in sadness as she stood up after getting up, and her phone dinged again- it was Liam. "Hey sis. Flight leaves 5:00am your time!" it said with all of her other flight information. "Okay! Thank you!" she sent back quickly, and ran up the stairs to pack.
