It was time for Danielle to get a blood draw, and she had been dreading it. She was terrified of needles, and she shuttered at the thought of them. When she was informed it was time for her to get one, she began to panic. She sat trying to calm herself down as she waited for her doctors RM, Jin, SUGA, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook to come in to do it. She had debated on getting up and walking out, but she knew that wasn't right, and that she would just have to come back and do it all over again if she left.
"Hey Danielle!" they said walking in, and putting gloves on. She looked at the tray they had with the needle in it, and she gulped. "H-hey," she said as she never lost eye contact with the needle. "How are you today?" RM asked as they all prepared to do the blood draw. "I've been better," she said nervously. "We will go really fast," Jin said noticing how scared she looked. "Alright, I'm just going to sterilize your arm," SUGA said as he walked over with an alcohol swab, but that was all it took for Danielle to hop right off the table, and start toward the door. Danielle was terrified, and she made her way to the door, and grab the handle as she almost got out the door when J-Hope grabbed her, and brought her back in the room. "Calm down, it's okay!" he said as Jimin helped him pull Danielle back into the room gently. "Hey, look. You're fine! I promise this isn't going to hurt!" V said as he helped coax her back onto the bed. "There's no need to run. We are just going to take a swab, and clean your arm. Then, we will stick this little needle in your vein, and take a little bit of blood. It's no big deal at all, you won't even feel it!" Jungkook said trying to make Danielle feel better. Danielle just wanted to try and flee again. Jin noticed she was looking at the door, so he stepped in front of it to block her from getting out again if she did try. Danielle began to panic more when she noticed that Jin got in front of the door, and she could feel herself started to lose control of her breathing. "I really don't want to do it, we can do it another day," she said as she went to stand up again, but SUGA stopped her and made her get back on the table. "Danielle, you and I both know that if we don't do it today, that we will keep pushing it off, and then the more nervous you'll be. Let's just go ahead and get it done. I promise it will not hurt!" J-Hope said as he moved the tray over to the table, and sat it down beside her. "I still don't want to do it," she said and at this point she was working herself into a panic attack. "Look at me," Jimin said as he walked over to Danielle. "See how tiny this needle is?" he asked as he held it up for to see. "It looks huge to me," she said and Jimin laughed a little. "It isn't. It feels like a little mosquito bite. I mean, like tiny pinch, and it's over!" he explained. "Plus, if you let us go ahead and do it, you can go on home. The longer you fight, the longer this will take," V added. Danielle sat for a minute and pondered, and decided to let them go ahead and do it. Her breath hitched in her throat as Jungkook cleaned her arm off with the swab. "Relax, Danielle. Take a deep breath," RM said trying to help calm her down, and all of them gave her encouraging words, as Jungkook stuck the needle in her arm. By them helping her, she barely even noticed it went in. "Great job!" Jungkook said taking the needle out a few minutes later, and she was proud of herself. "See, we knew you could do it," Jin said and Danielle laughed. "Thank you for helping me through it," Danielle said as she hopped off the bed, and V wrapped her arm up. "No problem at all!" SUGA said as she walked out the door. Danielle left feeling a lot better about needles, but she still wasn't a fan of them at all.
