A few years ago, Harry and Sofia were a happy couple. Things were going great until Harry told her that he was moving to Los Angeles to study, and Sofia didn't hear from him or know what happened after he moved for several years. One day, Sophia was cleaning around her house and sorting everything out, and she opened up the closet to start cleaning. As the opened the door, a huge container came cascading down from the top of the closet, hitting Sofia right in the jaw. Sofia yelled as she grabbed her jaw in pain. "Ow!" she said almost in tears. She held her mouth as she went to the kitchen to grab an ice pack to put on her face. As she sat down trying to comprehend what happened, she was in horrible pain that only got worse and worse. Against her wishes, she decided that she needed to get to the emergency dentist immediately.

"Hello!" the receptionist said sitting at the desk. "How can I help you today?" she asked as Sofia started signing herself in. "I think I damaged my mouth. I was cleaning, and a big container fell down from the top of the closet, and hit me right in the mouth. It hurts really bad," Sofia said still holding the ice pack to her face. "Okay!" the receptionist said typing some information in to the computer. "You can follow me back," a dental assistant said as she walked to the door, and led Sofia to the office room. Sofia nervously followed behind the lady, and she stopped at a door. "You'll be in this room right here," she said as she darted back down the hall. Sofia was extremely scared, but grabbed the door handle and opened it anyway. As she opened the door, she recognized the curly headed man sitting there. "Harry?" she said totally surprised. "Sofia?" he asked back equally surprised. "What are you doing here?" Sofia asked him as she took in the sight. "I'm a dentist! I studied and now I work here! What are you doing here?" Harry asked her back. "Well, I-I had a bit of an accident. It hurts really bad, so I decided I needed to come in," she said as she walked in the door a little more. Sofia felt totally awkward and embarassed. "Come sit down," Harry said patting the dental chair and smiling reassuringly. "I'm going to ask you a few questions if that's okay?" Harry asked getting a piece of paper. "Sure," Sofia said as she sat down in the chair. "Well, how did this accident happen?" he started off asking. "Well, I was cleaning, and a container came down from the top of the closet, and hit me right in the mouth," she said as she shuffled her feet nervously. "Oh my! Okay, how would you rate your pain on a scale of 1-10?" he asked. "10," she replied as she noticed her hands were shaking. "Okay, are you comfortable with me being your dentist?" he asked looking at her. Sofia nodded her head shyly. She was still very nervous though. It didn't help that she was sitting in the room with her ex-boyfriend, who was about to be working in her mouth. "Okay then! Are you ready to start?" he asked sitting his paper down after their long talk, and she nodded. "Alright, Sofia. Can you open up for me?" Harry asked as he pulled his gloves on, leaned her chair back, and picked up his tools. Sofia wanted to, but couldn't make herself do it. She looked away from him, and he looked at her sympathetically. "Hey, it's alright! I won't hurt you," Harry said trying to comfort her. After a few minutes of coaxing, she finally agreed to open her mouth. "Alright, I'm just looking around. I'm looking to see if there's been any damage done," Harry explained everything as he looked. He did a very thorough job of checking each individual tooth, and then after quite some time, he found the problem. "Ah! I see the problem. It looks as if you broke your last lower back tooth when the container hit you in the mouth," he said taking the tools out of her mouth. "The easiest thing to do is simply just extract it," Harry said waiting to see what Sofia thought. "I can't stand the pain anymore, that's fine," she said knowing it would help her in the long run. "Okay, we will get you prepped then!" he said getting all of the tools he needed to complete the procedure.

"Alright, now I'm just going to numb you," Harry said as he pulled up a syringe to numb her. Sofia immediately closed her mouth, and her eyes grew wide. "No!" she said as she started getting worked up. She started crying, and Harry was taken aback. "Hey, don't cry! It's okay! I promise! I promise I'll let you know everything I'm doing. I wouldn't hurt you!" Harry said trying to comfort Sofia. Sofia seemed to calm down to the sound of Harry's voice, and she eventually agreed to letting him do it. "Okay, I promise this won't hurt, just a little prick. I'm going to do it now, okay?" Harry said, and Sofia nodded. He looked her in the eyes the whole time, and she felt at ease.

After finishing the procedure, Harry decided to let Sofia rest for a few seconds before she had to get up. After she was ready to get up, Harry helped her. He didn't feel comfortable letting her drive home, so he decided to spring into action. "Could I um-maybe, maybe take you home?" he asked shyly. "Oh, don't worry about me," Sofia started to stay as she stabilized herself as she stood. "No! No, I insist. I would feel much better if you'd let me," Harry said back. "Okay!" Sofia eventually agreed with a smile. As Harry drove Sofia back home, Sofia had plenty of time to think in the awkward silence. She couldn't help but notice how perfect Harry was. The more she thought about it, she could feel her feelings rekindling for her ex.

As they arrived to her house, Harry helped her out, and made sure she made it to the door okay. "So um...maybe we could exchange phone numbers?" Harry asked sheepishly. "Sure!" Sofia said pulling her phone out, and they put their contacts in each other's phones. "Well, thank you for bringing me home," Sofia said as she went to say her goodbyes. "No problem! I'll text you," Harry said heading down the stairs from her porch. "Okay! Bye," Sofia said closing the door, hearing him shout a goodbye back. Sofia went and collapsed onto the couch with a sigh, never did she think she would fall back in love with Harry.

A few days later, Sofia was sitting on her couch eating a snack and watching TV when she heard her phone go off. As she looked down to see who it was, her heart fluttered when she read "Harry" on her phone. "Hello?" she said quickly answering the phone. "Hey!" he said on the other line of the phone. "How are you?" Sofia asked as she felt her heart pounding out of her chest. "I'm good! How are you, and how does your mouth feel?" Harry asked her back. "I'm good. It feels much better!" Sofia answered. "Good! So...I was calling to see if maybe you wanted to go on a date?" Harry asked her nervously. "Absolutely!" she said back quickly. "Really? Awesome!" he said surprised and excited. "I'll pick you up later tonight, and we can go and get dinner!" he said and she agreed, hopping up to get ready for her date. Harry picked her up later that evening, and was speechless at how she pretty she looked. He opened the car door for her, and they headed to the restaurant. The date went really well, and they hit it off again like no time had passed. They got to catch up with each other, and wound up staying out really late that night. Things went so well, they talked all day and night for several weeks, and it wasn't long after that, that Harry proposed to her, and they prepared for the most amazing wedding ever.
