Kristyn and Niall were engaged, and they were so excited to get married. Kristyn was in her senior year, and they were very close to the finish. This made Kristyn and Niall extremely happy, because they were about to be able to spend tons of time together, and their wedding was approaching quickly. With graduation right around the corner, Kristyn's high school was requiring pre-graduation meetings between the parents and teachers. Kristyn was honestly really happy that school was nearing at end. For as long as her and Niall had been in a relationship, her classmates and teachers had given her an extremely hard time. They were continually cracking awful jokes, spreading terrible rumors, and just being overall horrible to Kristyn. Kristyn tried to power through, but it got to be a lot sometimes; however, Niall and her parents were always there to help her through it.
Kristyn had sort of dreaded the meeting. She didn't want to go see her teachers anymore than necessary, because regardless of her principal and parents saying she's engaged to Niall, they still didn't believe her. They were almost worse than the students in a way, because they were meant to be older and more mature, and to protect the students from bullying, but they were participating along with the students when it came to teasing Kristyn. Against Kristyn's wishes, she had mandatory attendance to the meeting though, so she decided to at least try and make the best of it while she was there. Kristyn and her parents piled up in the car, and drove to her school. As they stood in the hall waiting for their turn, Kristyn got a text from Niall. "Hey babe! What are you doing?" Niall texted. "I'm standing in the hallway at school waiting with my parents to be called in for our pre-graduation meeting," Kristyn texted back to her fiancé. "What time will you be home? I was going to see if you wanted to hang out," Niall replied to her. "It'll be a little bit, but you should come down to the school for the meeting! It's more for my parents than for me," Kristyn explained to him. "Okay! I'll be there shortly!" Niall texted getting up to leave immediately.
About five minutes later, Kristyn and her parents were called into the room, and they sat in the chairs across the table from her teachers. "Hi! You must be Kristyn's parents," the first teacher said standing up to shake their hands. "We are!" her mom smiled as she shook all of the other teachers' hands. "Well, great! We will get started then!" another teacher said. "Give us just a second to get all of our paper work settled," she said as they all transitioned their papers over to Kristyn's paperwork, grades, and information. "I'll just give you a brief overview of what the meeting will be about while we are all getting situated. So, we will talk about Kristyn's grades, follow up with some general information about the actual graduation and her choices, and then we will discuss her academics and such throughout her high school career. Basically, just run over everything from the past few years, and then we will touch on the information she needs for graduation, and we will answer any questions you may have," a teacher said as they all flipped through their stacks of information. "We also will discuss some concerns and such that we may have had throughout the past years," one said as they finally got their papers done, fully intending to confront her parents about Kristyn's "lies" about being with Niall. However, like clockwork, Niall came wandering in the room right when they happened to all look up. "Hey Niall!" Kristyn's parents said as he approached them at the table. "Hi guys! Thanks for inviting me to the meeting, babe," Niall said and Kristyn stood up to hug him. The moment all of the teachers realized that it actually was Niall Horan in the room, all of their jaw's dropped and they stared in shock. Since there were only a few seats, Niall sat down in the chair Kristyn was previously in, and had Kristyn sit on his lap. "So, you were saying?" Kristyn's dad said directing attention back onto the teachers that were still shocked. "Yes...um-uh," one stuttered trying to re-gather her thoughts. "So-um...Kristyn's grades have been outstanding," one picked up for the other. "And here's some general information," one started, handing her parents a packet of info to take home. For the rest of the meeting, Kristyn wasn't focused on the teachers at all. Niall would whisper things in her ear to make her laugh, and she was trying to keep her snickers in and not laugh. Niall eventually whispered something so funny that Kristyn laughed out loud, and caught the attention from everyone slightly. "No," she replied to what he said with a smile. "Well, thank you guys for coming by," the teachers said shaking everyone's hands again as they finished the meeting. "Nice to meet you, I'm Niall! Sorry, I busted in!" Niall followed up shaking their hands, and introducing himself, and apologizing for interrupting the meeting. "No worries at all!" they said still completely shocked at the fact Kristyn was actually engaged to Niall. "Well, we will be on our way. Thank you!" they all said leaving, and driving back to Kristyn's parents house.
As Kristyn, Niall, and her parents arrived back at the house, they sat the packet down on the table for Kristyn to skim over. Kristyn browsed the information, and sat it back down on the table. "I don't want to go to graduation," she spoke up saying. "It's entirely your choice," her parents said, and Kristyn was thankful that she didn't have to worry about it. She decided that she wasn't going to, and she was happy to be able to have the choice. A little time passed, and Kristyn and Niall decided to go swimming later that night. "I enjoyed today!" Niall smiled as he swam over to Kristyn in the moonlight. "I did too! It was nice to finally prove them wrong," Kristyn laughed. "Their faces were priceless!" Niall laughed too, and kissed Kristyn lovingly before they got into a splash fight, and then headed in. "Wanna tackle some of that wedding planning list?" Niall said as Kristyn emerged with her pajamas on, and towel drying her still wet hair. "Absolutely!" she said as she sat next to Niall on the bed where her list was sitting from earlier. They started marking off things, and wound up getting a huge amount done. "I'm tired," Niall said flopping against one of the pillows. "Me too!" Kristyn laughed and sat the list aside. "I'm glad we got so much done! Less to stress about now," Niall said as Kristyn pulled the covers over the two of them. "Me too! I'm just glad we are getting married. I'm so excited to spend the rest of my life with you!" Kristyn smiled as Niall laid himself the rest of the way down next to her. "I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you too!" Niall said and kissed Kristyn as they pulled each other as close as possible, and both fell asleep with big smiles on their faces.
