Prompt: Jack & Jack/ Madison Beer imagine. Jack Gilinsky is Brianna's brother, and he is still dating Madison Beer. Brianna comes down with a toothache that she doesn't tell them about, because they were all in the midst of a fight that was caused when Jack G (her brother) made an insensitive comment about gay girls not knowing that Brianna is gay. Brianna trusted her secret with Madison and Jack Johnson only, and they accidentally wind up telling Jack G amongst the fighting, and then he starts feeling guilty and a little angry. They find out Brianna is missing, and realize something is wrong and that her tooth is bothering her. Jack G (also a dentist) apologizes to her, and then Jack G and Madison (also a dentist) try to convince her to let them fix her tooth, but they find out she is terrified of dentist. That's when Madison (also a minor in psychology), and Jack J (a doctor) help her with her fear so they can fix her tooth.
Brianna laid in her bed, and could hear yells coming from the house. She couldn't stand that her friends were fighting with her brother, and it was honestly making the pounding in her tooth worse. She put a pillow over her head, and was trying to tune them out completely. "I just can't believe you could be so insensitive!" Madison yelled at her boyfriend. "Why are you so mad?" Jack G yelled back. "Because, you can't just be saying things like that, Jack!" Jack J yelled standing up for Madison. "I don't get why it matter so much to you," Jack G said and turned around to avoid looking at them. "Because Jack! We have plenty of reason to be!" Madison yelled at her stubborn boyfriend. "Like what?" he retaliated sassily. "Because Brianna is gay!" Jack J blurted out unexpectedly. Jack G felt his face stiffen. "...what?" he asked softly after a few seconds of silence. "Yeah.." Madison said back knowing that Jack J shouldn't have told him, because Brianna hadn't told her family yet. "How do you know that?" he asked confused. All of his pent up rage had disappeared, and now he was feeling remorse. "She told us," Jack J admitted. "And she didn't tell me? I'm her brother," Jack G said feeling some of the warmth tingle in his face again, this it wasn't just from embarrassment, now it was from slight anger. "It's not that she didn't want to tell you, Jack...she just needed some time," Madison defended Brianna. "I just wish she would've told me," Jack G said feeling overwhelming remorse at the thought of hurting his sister. "Let's go talk to her about it," Jack J suggested, and Madison and Jack G agreed.
They walked down the hall to Brianna's room and noticed that she was missing. "Where'd she go?" Madison asked knowing she had just been there. "I don't even know," Jack J said and they started looking around the house. Jack G instantly started worrying if she had overheard them blurt out her secret, and he started to think about her hiding because of him. "Do you think she's hiding because I know now?" Jack G said as his eyes started watering. "No, of course not Jack," Madison said hugging her boyfriend. "Let's keep looking," she said and they wandered downstairs. "Brianna," they called out for several minutes and looked high and low. That's when Madison could hear some small sniffles coming from the pantry. She opened the door, and there sat Brianna on the cold kitchen tile. "Brianna," Madison said sympathetically, and joined her on the floor. Jack G and Jack J came to join her own the floor, and this caused Brianna's cries to strengthen. Jack G held her close, and realized that something else was bothering her too, because when he brought her into his chest, she grabbed the side of her face. "Brianna, I am so so sorry for what I said. I didn't know you were gay...which isn't an excuse, because I shouldn't have said it regardless," Jack G pleaded with his crying sister. "I know you didn't mean to..." Brianna said calming down slightly. "Thank you for apologizing. I appreciate it," Brianna said after a few minutes more. "Is your mouth bothering you?" Madison asked noticing that Brianna was having a hard time talking. "...yeah," Brianna admitted after a second. "Why didn't you tell us?" Jack G asked, and she shrugged. "You guys were fighting," Brianna said after a second. "Let us take you to the office, and figure out what's going on," Madison said and Brianna started to hyperventilate. "Woah, are you okay?" Jack J asked when he noticed that Brianna was working her way into a panic attack. "I-I'm terrified of the dentist," Brianna choked out. "Hey, it's okay. We would never hurt you! It's okay, calm down," Madison tried to comfort. "It's okay, I'm right here. Just relax," Jack G whispered to his little sister. There efforts weren't working great, and so Jack J stepped in with his doctor skills to calm her down. "Okay, breathe in for four counts, and then breathe out for four," he instructed and they finally got her calmed down enough to think rationally. "Why don't we try and work through this a different way. Maybe we can pinpoint what scares you about the dentist, and then we can work through your phobia to make you not so scared," Madison suggested with her knowledge of phobias from her psychology minor. "O-okay," Brianna agreed and they stood and moved to the couch. "Okay, so how long have you been afraid of the dentist?" Madison asked. "As long as I can remember," Brianna thought back. "What scares you about them?" Madison coached. "I guess the whole thought of the pain, I don't like needles either. The whole process scares me a little honestly," Brianna thought some more. "Okay! Well, if we can get you over your fear of pain and needles, then we can definitely help. Nobody better to help you get through the fear than us! We are very careful not to cause any pain, and we also can make the injections not so bad with numbing gel, and other distractions. They really are only a small pinch, and that's it!" Madison said optimistically. After a brief silence, Brianna finally agreed to let them fix her tooth, and they had her in their office less than 15 minutes later.
"Okay, Brianna," Jack G said getting all the tools aligned, "We're just going to take an x-ray." She knew this part wouldn't hurt, so she let them take the x-rays. After a few moments of discussing the issue, they found the problem, a small cavity. "It does look like you have a small cavity, but it's a very easy fix! We can use that numbing gel before the shot, and we can put the TV on so you never even notice what's going on," Madison reminded as she noticed Brianna shifted uncomfortably in her chair. They set the TV onto a show they knew she'd like, and then they went about their business. "Okay, this is just some numbing," Jack G said holding a little stick and putting it where they would put the shot. Brianna's attention was drawn away from the task at hand, and they made sure to get her completely comfortable. They comforted her when words were needed, but she took it like a champ overall. "You're done!" Jack G said sitting the chair up. "Really?" Brianna asked not believing it. "Yep!" Madison said and they cheered for her braveness. "I guess the dentist isn't so bad after all," Brianna said causing the others to laugh. She could rest assured that her brother and friends always had her back, and that the dentist wasn't maybe as scary as she had thought.
