The ride home was long enough for Liam to fall asleep, and the boys were thankful he was getting some rest. They felt horrible that he wound up having to have fillings instead of just getting his braces tightened like originally planned. "I'm glad that he's sleeping," Harry said from the driver's seat. "I know. He didn't sleep at all barely last night," Louis agreed. "I feel horrible for him. I know how scared he is of the dentist and needles," Zayn said looking at Liam sleeping against the door. "Well, hopefully he can sleep through the pain the dentist was mentioning," Niall added. "I hope so! But hey, you're teeth look great, babe," Harry said. "Yes they do, Niall!" Zayn added. "They look incredible!" Louis complimented. "Thank you, boys!" Niall said smiling big.
The boys pulled into their shared house about ten minutes later, and Harry sighed as he took the keys out of the ignition. "Well, I'm going to try and carry him in, so he doesn't wake up," Harry said after pondering what to do. "That's a good plan, Haz. I'll go open the door," Louis said hopping out, and fiddling with his keys. "Zayn, could you unbuckle him?" Harry asked as he walked around to Liam's side of the car. "Of course!" Zayn said from the middle of the backseat as he unlatched Liam's seatbelt. "Thank you, love," Harry said and Zayn nodded as he tried to help Harry maneuver him out of the car. As Harry walked to the house carrying Liam bridal style, Liam's eyes opened. "You're okay, love. We are home, I'm just carrying you into the house," Harry said and Liam nodded and tucked his face into Harry's chest. "Bed or couch?" Harry asked and Liam leaned his eyes a little. "Couch," Liam said still wanting to be in the room with the boys. "Okay, Li," Harry smiled as he walked Liam over to the couch and covered him up. "I'll be back, boys. I'm going to go pick up some food," Zayn said after they got everything settled. "Can I go too?" Louis asked and Zayn smiled. "Of course, why would you even ask that?" Zayn laughed and Louis laughed too. "Okay, you guys be careful. Pick up Liam some soft food and medicine too," Harry said as he straightened the living room up. "We will!" Louis said as they walked out the door.
While they waited for Louis and Zayn to return, Harry and Niall also sprawled out on the other couch and took a nap. They woke up about an hour or so later when Liam grumbled from the pain in his jaw. "He's awake," Niall said as Harry stretched out. "You alright, Li?" Niall asked getting off the couch, and sitting in front of where Liam was laying on the other couch. "Mouth hurts," Liam mumbled as he rubbed his face. "Louis and Zayn went to go get us some stuff, and they are supposed to pick you up some medicine..they should actually be back any minute," Harry said and Liam nodded and closed his eyes again to rest. Niall had Liam sit up and then lay back down with his head in his lap, and Liam curled into Niall happily. Harry got up and texted Louis to see where they were, but before he could send the text, the two boys came walking through the door. "Perfect timing," Harry smiled as Louis and Zayn walked in with some bags of food and groceries. "What did you wind up getting?" Niall asked, and Liam opened his eyes to look up at Niall as he felt the vibrations coming from his voice. "You're teeth look really good," Liam said and the boys laughed. "Thank you, Liam," Niall said with a huge smile. "Anyway, we brought Nando's. We got Liam some soup, and ice cream, and some other soft stuff. We also brought you some candy, since you can finally eat it!" Zayn explained and Niall got extremely happy. "Thank you!!" Niall said looking through the huge bag of candy and stuff he had missed eating for the past couple of years. "You're more then welcome!" Zayn said kissing Niall. "It's nice not to feel braces when I'm kissing you," Niall said and Zayn laughed.
A few minutes later, the boys passed food around, and Liam sat up eating some apple sauce on the couch with a blanket wrapped around him. "You want some medicine?" Harry asked and Liam nodded. "Okay!" Harry said grabbing him something to ease the now throbbing pain coming from his jaw. "Thank you," Liam smiled after taking the medicine. "Anything for you, love," Harry said before taking all of their dirty dishes to the sink. "Do you want some ice cream?" Louis called from the kitchen. "Yes please," Liam said and Louis and Harry reappeared with bowls of ice cream for everyone. After they watched a movie, everyone decided it was time for bed, especially Liam who was really tired from the day. For the next few days, the boys tended to Liam until he felt better, and he was so happy to have the boys.
