D10- Tom Posing with a Fan at a Con (I'm saving mine for the 10k face reveal, but this one has always been one of my favorites!!!)

Holy Hanna! I've been on hiatus so long I've forgotten to wish Haz a happy birthday a few days ago! Haz, you make me so happy I can't explain it. I love how silly you are and how great a friend you are to Tom. Happy 24th, love!

Y/N Y/L/N was twelve years old when she fell in love with Thomas Stanley Holland. She knew it the second he came on the screen at the midnight showing of Captain America: Civil War. After that, she'd watched every possible interview with him, read every article about him, and followed him using her mum's Instagram account (since she had been too young for her own at the time).

Five years later, her adoration for him had only grown. When she broke down, he always cheered her up. Her mother put on his movies after they had fights as a peace offering. Everyone she knew understood that Tom Holland had her heart and she was sure it was love the second she met him outisde a restaraunt for the first time when she was fifteen. How could it not be? He made her smile when she needed it, he was the little voice in her head when she wondered what to do, she felt like she'd known him her whole life.

Everyone always told Y/N that she was too obsessed with the man, but none of them ever told her "I'm glad he makes you happy". Do you think she cared? Of course not. No matter what anyone else said, she told them "Oh, I'm going to marry him one day. You'll see." Even though she knew it seemed impossible, she held onto her favorite quote of his: "I feel like if you put something out into the universe, you'll increase your chances of it happening."

Even though Y/N stuck to this, there was always the tiny voice in the back of her mind that called her crazy to hope for such a thing. And then there was the matter of the age difference. Legally, she was too young to date an adult, and though she only had two more years until it was allowed, everyone told her, "Oh, he'll be married by then. He'll have a child of his OWN by then." And a part of her knew they might be right...

"Y/N?" a voice interrupted her thoughts. "Y/N? The ring?" Y/N shook her head and handed the Officiant the light silver circle she didn't realize she'd been clenching in her palm. "No, no, dear. You do it," the old man chuckled.

Y/N blushed a deep shade of pink under her makeup before sliding the ring onto the hand of the man before her. She looked up into his deep brown eyes...the eyes she'd gazed into on just a screen for so long. She didn't realize her hand was shaking. He gave her a reassuring smile and squeezed her hand gently as she gathered herself to speak.

"Tom, as long as I can remember, I have loved you. I have loved how kind you are towards others and how you aren't afraid to be who you are. I have loved the way you can always turn my rainy days into sunny ones, both when I knew you and when you were but an occupant of my imagination. They all told me that this day would never come for us...that I was just a teenage girl who'd lost her mind. But you know what? I knew. I always knew. Because my whole life, I've lived by something you said. I put it out into the universe." She finished her vow, her voice shaking with emotion. She could see the love in Tom's eyes and it was all she'd ever wanted.

"And now," the Officiant continued, "I pronounce you Husband and Wife. You may kiss the bride."
