Lupe looked at him slightly suspiciously. Then she said: "Juanma told you, right".

Lupe took a deep breath, "I explained that to him".

"I don't know Alvaro. I feel so alone. Mama has gotten weird, Ramiro is not my father and my father is in the hospital. My boyfriend has a new girlfriend and you have Mia. Even Sofie and Agostina have a boyfriend."

Lupe nodded.

"Then talk to me before you scare Juanma to death."

"I envy you Mia so much. She is always there for you and she does you so good."

"Yes, she is. She is generally good for everyone." Lupe looked at the floor again

They stayed by the lake for a while until Ramiro called out to go. It was the last day of camping, the next day they should go back to school at noon.

When they got back to the tents, Zoe and Mia packed some things. Juanma asked Alvaro "Did you say something to Lupe" Alvaro told him that Lupe had guessed, but that he had talked to her more about her feelings. "She must be mad at me," said Juanma. " No, I do not think so." said Alvaro.

The mood in the evening was lively. There was singing again and Roberto and Clara began to dance. Mia didn't miss that and pulled Alvaro up. Zoe and Juanma joined in too, until Juanma suddenly sat down and held his side. Apart from Zoe, nobody had noticed at first. Zoe sat down next to him. Mia and Alvaro sat down next to them after a while, but everything was ok with Juanma now.
