The next morning everyone had breakfast together again on the terrace, then they packed the last things together. Alvaro got everything out of the cars that had accumulated in the two weeks. As soon as everything was ready they started to the diving school.

Alvaro had agreed with Dani the day before that they would come by on Saturday at noon.

Dani and Toni were happy to see the four again. "Sit down" said Toni while Dani got water and soda. "Have you finished everything?" asked Toni. "Yes, unfortunately," Mia said and everyone had to laugh somehow.

"Do you have another course from next week" asked Juanma. "Yes, so far we have 5 registrations" said Toni.

"Maybe we will come again at the end of the holidays," said Zoe. When Dani and Toni looked questioningly at the four, Alvaro explained what Ramiro had said. "It's great when the weather is as good as it is now and you have the time and inclination, then I might have a surprise for you," said Dani. "What?" Asked Mia.

"Would it be a surprise if I gave it away now?" said Dani with a laugh.

Juanma looked at the clock "We have to go, we still have to hand over the cars"

Everyone stood up. Dani gave Alvaro a short hug and said "Speak with  your mother. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. We'll stay in touch, okay?" Alvaro nodded.

Toni said to Juanma and Mia "Send us a ticket for the next gig and we'll come too."

"Mostly it is discos where we perform," said Juanma. "We're not that far for admission tickets yet"

"That's good too, then just let me know. Maybe Dani and I will end up in Buenos Aires for a few days." Toni laughed.

By the time they got to the house, Ramiro had already loaded most of the things into the cars. Isabel had gone through all the rooms again to make sure everything was taken. Mia stood on the terrace for a moment and looked over the sea. "Everything ok" asked Juanma who had been standing behind her for a while.

Mia nodded "Yes, everything is ok, this time it's just harder to say goodbye than the last time"

Juanma put her arm around her. "We'll be back. And that with Alvaro will all be sorted out. Don't worry."

"It hurts that his family rejects me. My mother could never have rejected someone I loved so much."

"Don't take it so hard, it's not Alvaro's fault that Mercedes is like this. And everyone who matters does like you, Mia." He gave her a quick squeeze. "Maybe Mercedes will understand one day." Mia nodded and leaned her head on Juanma's shoulder." When Alvaro is at home and Zoe is with her parents too, we'll see each other in between, okay? "Asked Juanma.

"I'd love to." Mia smiled at him.

"Are you coming too, we're ready to go," they heard Ramiro's voice from the cars. Mia looked over the sea again and squeezed Juanma's hand. "let's go to the others."

The flight was called on time and went without incident. The whole time Alvaro feared that Mercedes would show up at the airport after all, although it had been agreed otherwise, but luckily she didn't. Everyone was a bit exhausted when they got to Ramiro's.

Ramiro ordered pizza. After dinner they sat together for a while. Despite the end of the vacation, everyone was still in a relatively good mood. They talked a little more about the vacation and told Ramiro that they wanted to go to the beach again in the last days of the vacation.

"Was that actually the beach where you wanted to go with us as family?" Asked ALvaro.

"No, that was another, but we can go there too." Ramiro didn't want to remind himself that the children wanted to go on a family vacation and that Mercedes tore up the tickets in anger.

When Alvaro and Mia were in bed, Alvaro said: "We'll both go to the river tomorrow, just the two of us before I go home to my mom, okay?"

Mia took him in her arms and nodded. She wished she the week would be over  and they would be  at Juanma's for the weekend. Ramiro had told her on the flight that Isabel was still there this week and that they would do something nice together. She was looking forward to it, but at the moment the sadness prevailed that Alvaro would be driving to his mother tomorrow. It was not so much the goodbye. It was the knowledge that Mercedes didn't want her there.

ALvara hugged her very tightly. He could guess what Mia was thinking. And he was mad at his mother that she couldn't cut it and accept Mia. As Dani had already said, neither he nor Mia could do anything for this situation. Even Ramiro couldn't help it because he believed Ramiro when he said he didn't know about Mia's existence. The only person who knowingly harmed people was Mercedes. The reasons may be understandable, but making Mia suffer like this now was unacceptable to him.

He caressed Mia the whole time and it wasn't long before she fell asleep.

Alvaro was still awake thinking about the vacation. He tried to get the underwater pictures in his head, hoping that they would calm him down and let him fall asleep. He heard a noise from the hall. Since he was awake anyway. he decided to look on.

When he quietly opened the door and crept through the hallway he almost scared a very sleepy Juanma to death.
