The next day the boys helped Zoe's father around the house, while the girls tidied up Zoe's room and packed the first things together.

Then it started. Zoe knew about Alvaro's plan, and was only supposed to pretend it was a meal together so Mia didn't ask. Alvaro let Zoe and Juanma out near the restaurant and said he and Mia were still looking for a parking space.

Mia was surprised when Alvaro drove past the parking lot. Alvaro had put his hand on her leg, "I just have to see something," he said.

When they stopped in front of Ramiro's house, Mia said: "Ramiro's not there."

"Wait a moment, he asked me to check something" Alvaro left the car and went inside. In no time at all, he lit all the candles and switched on the fairy lights. Then he set the table and went downstairs to get Mia. "Please come upstairs with me. I need your help for a moment."

Mia got out and went into the house with him. Alvaro led her in and Mia looked at the lights on the terrace. When she saw the table that had been set, she fell around Alvaro's neck. "That's so nice," she said.

"I wanted to surprise you with an evening for two and a meal," said Alvaro and gave her a squeeze. "I thought we were going to order something because if I had prepared something you would have noticed."

Mia laughed. "But when did you ... wait a minute ... about Marcello ..." Alvaro started to laugh. "You've been kidding us," Mia said with a laugh. "What about Zoe and Juanma?" asked Mia. "Juanma invites her to dinner today and they'll drive over to him" said Alvaro. Mia smiled, she was happy for the two of them.

Alvaro led her to the table. When Mia sat down he gave her the slip of paper for the order. They both quickly found what they were looking for and Alvaro ordered the dinner. While they were waiting, he filled two glasses with soda and brought them outside to  Mia.

" Have a nice evening, "he said. The glasses clinked together and Mia gave Alvaro a kiss.

"Do you remember when you invited me into the storage room?"

"Oh yes as if it was yesterday," said Alvaro. "Everything was still so unresolved, but I noticed that something was there. But Juanma was still standing between us."

Mia nodded. "And you taught me to ride a bike." Mia laughed.

"I haven't forgotten our peculiar bike trip to Greece" laughed Alvaro.

The doorbell rang and the food came. Alvaro brought it to the table. "That's such a cute idea of ​​yours," Mia said happily.

"You inspire me because I love you," said Alvaro.

"I just needed an evening for us. I really enjoy being with Zoe and Juanma, but right now I was missing a little togetherness. Ramiro knows that we are here," he said.

"It's great how you did it and I missed being alone with you too."

When they finished with the meal, Mia wanted to clean up but Alvaro said "I'll do that. You will let yourself be pampered today". He put the plates in the kitchen and went back to Mia. He took her hand over the table. "Mia, I love you more than I can express. You are my sun, my elixir of life. With everything that is going on in my family right now, you are the one who always puts a smile on my face."

Mia got up, walked around the table and sat on his lap. She kissed him and said, "I love to see you smile. And I love it even more when it is me who can manage to make you smile. I love the way your eyes take on your lipp's smile and smile too. "

She put her arms around his neck and snuggled up against him. Alvaro held her tightly. They sat like that for a long time until Alvaro said "I had a movie with popcorn and cuddles on the evening program." Mia nodded. They left the tealights on because you could see them from the couch and Alvaro went into the kitchen and filled a bowl with the popcorn that he had bought with the fairy lights.

Mia had already turned on the television. Alvaro chose the film "Email for you", dimmed the lights and took Mia in his arms. He enjoyed Mia's warm body on his. At that moment he only thought that he always wanted to stay with Mia. No matter what his family would say about it.
