Ramiro looked at Mercedes for a moment. She looked tired, sad. He sighed and put his hand on hers. "Mercedes, it's time you let go. When Mercedes said nothing, he said, "All I want to do is make peace with you and be there for the school and the children as well as possible."

"Have you ever considered that this could also have something to do with your behavior. Alvaro is happy with MIa. Do you know how it hurts him not to be able to share this happiness with you?"

Mercedes took a deep breath, looked at her watch and suddenly said in a completely composed tone, "Anyway, I have an appointment now." She got up and left the office. Ramiro watched her go for a moment. He hoped that any conversation of this kind would hang on her a bit until she was able to work on herself.

Mia and Roberto retired to their rooms when the children were in bed. They sat down at Mia's bed to exchange their impressions. Mia saw that he kept checking his cell phone. "Didn't she answer you?" she asked him.

"Not since we left," said Roberto a little sadly. Mia looked at him, "But you don't really think that she ..."

"Have you seen them dance? The way he looks at her? They dance like Juanma and you."

"And we're not together either," Mia said with a grin. "Wait a minute," she added. She dialed Alvaro's number, who answered immediately. "Hey is everything ok with you?" he said with a smile in his voice. "Everything is ok here" said Mia. "Except that I miss you" she said. "I miss you too," said Alvaro.

"Tell me, do you know where Clara is?"

"Sure," said Alvaro, "she's here with us, would you like to speak to her?"

Roberto looked at Mia and MIa said "Yes please." She passed her cell phone on to Roberto. "Listen who that is" she said softly and he took the cell phone. He indicated to Mia that he would go out briefly and Mia nodded with a laugh.

When he came back, he looked a little happier. "She's excited," he said. Mia laughed. "But you are reassured now," she said. "Yes," said Roberto. "I don't know why I was worried either".

"I don't think you need that either." said Mia

The next morning Alvaro set off with Zoe, Clara and Juanma. Juanma got out with Zoe at the theater. "We'll write later, okay?" he said. Zoe nodded. "The internship is a stupid idea when we're separated again," she said and took him in her arms. "Next weekend we'll be at Ramiro's, then we'll have a lot of time," said Juanma and kissed her. "I think you have to go in," he said because he saw a member of staff who seemed to be waiting for Zoe. Zoe nodded, gave Juanma another kiss and waved to Alvaro and Clara.

Clara became quieter and quieter on the way to school. Juanma turned to her and said "Hey, they have never seen anything like us, they will be thrilled" Clara nodded.

When they were there, Juanma said to Alvaro, "Take good care of yourself. The emergency rooms are not to be envied. We'll speak later, okay captain."

Alvaro smiled and nodded. He gave Clara a squeeze and said, laughing, "Take care that Juanma doesn't make any nonsense"

"I don't know who you mean" laughed Juanma, who heard it. "Come on Clara, we should go in."

Zoe had been introduced to her work area by a woman named Serafina. She was amazed at the many glitter costumes. With shining eyes she said "May I try on some of these."

"Sure, my girl" laughed Serafina. " We will have a lot of fun together."

Zoe noticed that Serafina made a happy and loving impression. She seemed a little older. She showed Zoe everything and Zoe had brought one of the costumes she had designed for the competition. Serafina was enthusiastic about the idea and said "Watch out, I won't let you go at all at the end of the week." Zoe beamed.

Juanma and Clara should go  to the secretariat to be registered. A very stern looking lady looked at them over her glasses and said "Ah, you are the interns. Come on with me"

Juanma looked at Clara and said softly "That could be a sister of Mercedes" Clara had to grin, but stayed slightly behind Juanma. She led the two of them to a very young teacher who looked like she wasn't much older than the two of them. "Hey there you are," she said kindly. "It's nice that you're here. I'm Catarina. I'll explain you what we're doing here and what you have to pay attention to" She smiled at the two of them and Clara relaxed again.
