The next morning they started. Mia and Zoe were really excited. Alvaro was still a little deep in thought. Ramiro had tried to dispel his worries a little. Alvaro assumed he could switch off when they were on the beach.

Their flight was called on time. At the arrival airport, Ramiro had rented two cars. He had told the students that they were free to do things on their own. A small ulterior motive was that he could go out alone with Isabel that way.

When they arrived at the place of arrival, they distributed their luggage between the two cars and set off in the direction of holliday home. Alvaro was thrilled again at how beautiful the house was and how quiet it was.

They unpacked a few things and wanted to go straight to the beach.

"Wait a minute," Ramiro said with a laugh. "We have to plan a bit about what we eat and we also have to go shopping."

The students decided to have a barbecue on the terrace. Isabel and Ramiro wanted to do the shopping because the four couldn't be stopped. They released them to the beach and went shopping. Ramiro showed Isabel the little town and they drove along the beach for a while. Isabel had laid her hand loosely on Ramiro's leg and was admiring the landscape.

The four had run to the beach. Nothing had changed since the time before, Alvaro and Juanma went straight into the water. The girls spread the blankets and first of all enjoyed the sun."Hoooolllydaaayyyy" shouted Zoe and dropped onto the blanket. "I can't believe we're finally here.""Hold on to the moment, this is the beginning of our endless, never-ending vacation," Mia said with a laugh."Now get into the water," Alvaro called to them and waved."Shall we?" Asked Mia."It's so beautiful here in the sun," said Zoe."Come on," Mia said and pulled Zoe up. Hand in hand the girls ran into the water and cried out because after the sun it was a little cooler than expected. The boys had swam quite far out and Mia and Zoe had trouble reaching them. "Come on now, the few meters" shouted Juanma while he and Alvaro swam towards the girls."I can't stand here anymore," Zoe shouted with a laugh and let herself slide under the water.They romped around a bit in the water and when Alvaro noticed that Mia was freezing, he suggested going to the blanket. When they came out of the water, they saw that Ramiro and Isabel had put a blanket over theirs and were watching them romp.Mia fell soaking wet around Isabel's neck and Isabel cried out with a laugh. "You're freezing" she laughed. The four sat down next to the two of them. Ramiro told them what they had bought.He had brought a few brochures with possible activities nearby. The students looked at everything.Alvaro nudged Juanma and showed him a flyer from a diving school. Juanma grinned and took the flyer from his hand. "That would be something great , diving." He showed the flyer up.
"Have you ever been diving" asked Zoe.

"Only tried once but in only the swimming pool," said Juanma.

Ramiro took the flyer from him. "That sounds good. You can also get diving licenses there." he said.

"I still have it, but not with me here," said Alvaro.

"They can look it up." said Ramiro. Mia looked from one to the other.

"Alvaro and I got a diving license a few years ago. It was a great experience." told Ramiro.

"Can we do that" asked Mia and looked around.

"So that's not dangerous?," Isabel asked, looking at Ramiro.

"This is a diving school, they are only allowed to go down to 18 meters at the beginning. That is usually no more dangerous than swimming." said Ramiro.

"Yeah, and I could use a Refresher course" said Alvaro.

"Seriously now,  you can dive?" said Juanma, "I've always wanted to try that properly."

Zoe looked from one to the other. "You don't really want to do that now. I swim way too badly for that."

"You don't," said Mia.

"So first, if at all, only those who want to try it should really try it. Perhaps you can make an appointment and test it out. There is also something about trial diving." said Ramiro calmly

"And Zoe, you let yourself slide through the water, you swim absolutely well enough for that," said Alvaro.

"Let's go there tomorrow, it says they are open in the morning," Mia begged.

"Well Mia, I don't know. I .."

"Oh Madri, please, let's just take a look."

Ramiro had to laugh. "Yeah, go take a  look and then you see. Maybe you like what they say to you, Zoe."

He took Isabel's hand and said "don't worry, this is no problem here." Isabel didn't seem convinced, but given the kids' euphoria, she said nothing more.

When they were in the water again, Zoe said "what's the point of that diving, you can't see much here"

"It's because of the sand up here. For diving you go further out and the water is clearer there". explained Juanma.

Zoe and Mia tried to swim underwater and open their eyes. But it burned too much and they reappeared. They romped around a bit in the water and then went back to the house, where Ramiro and Isabel had already prepared the barbecue.
