Mia enjoyed the day with Ramiro and Isabel, who walked hand in hand the whole time. She was really happy for the two of them and she knew that Ramiro would have a hard time letting Isabel go.

At lunchtime they ate in a small pizzeria and Mia asked "Should we stay with you for the weekend instead of with Juanma, then you're not alone?"

"That's okay. I'm going to a school friend's house on Friday over the weekend and then I wanted to take a few days off with Lupe!"

"Did you clear that up with Mercedes?" asked Isabel.

"It was settled until we had an argument. I will probably have to contact her again today." Isabel nodded.

Isabel packed some of her things that afternoon. Ramiro withdrew to talk first with Lupe, then with Mercedes.

Lupe had agreed that she would look forward to a few days with him and gave the phone to Mercedes. "Is this woman going with you?" Mercedes asked first.

Ramiro rolled his eyes. "No, Isabel is no longer here" Mercedes looked at Lupe. Lupe raised her hands pleadingly and nodded.

"I have to think about it, I'll call you back," Mercedes said curtly and hung up.

"Mom please, I was looking forward to it, Alvaro was also allowed to drive with Ramiro."

"You were bored to death on our vacation, what do you want with Ramiro now."

Lupe didn't want to say that it was rarely boring with Ramiro so as not to worsen the mood. "Mom please, I'm only away for four days and back on the weekend."

Mercedes looked at her for a long time. She thought about Florencia's words. After a while she said "Ok. You can drive. But if I hear afterwards that this woman was there, you will only see Ramiro at school." Lupe fell on her neck; Mercedes picked up the phone and called Ramiro back. Ramiro thanked Mercedes matter-of-factly and quickly ended the conversation. After telling Javier that everything was ok, he went to Mia.

"I need your help now," he said.

"Sure what is it?"

Isabel looked a little suspicious when the two went out onto the terrace.

Lupe ran into Alvaro's room and told him that she was allowed to drive and Alvaro was relieved. A few days with Ramiro would do Lupe very well.

"Yes, he said, because you've been away for two weeks, we're going to a hotel on the beach. So we don't need to cook," she said and stuck her tongue out, laughing.

"We had our own beach ," said Alvaro and laughed too.

"Come on, let's go celebrate," said Alvaro.

"I can't, Gaspar wanted to pick me up right away, I'm sorry big brother."

"Not bad, I wish you a lot of fun:" said Alvaro and briefly squezzed Lupe.

Mia had meanwhile also written to him and sent some photos of the things she had received. He knew Mia would have a hard time letting Isabel go, so he agreed to go to the airport with them. Then they would then get Zoe and start to Juanma. He couldn't wait to see Mia again.

They had survived the four days well because they had seen each other on two days anyway, but it had been pretty tough at home. At school he had a necessary distance, but now that he was experiencing the atmosphere up close, it was difficult.

Mercedes hadn't said anything about the conversation with Florencia, but he just hoped she'd have some success.

He wrote a little more with Mia, and then packed up a few things that he wanted to take with him to Juanma and then to Zoe.

When it was time for dinner, he heard his mother in the kitchen.

He helped her set the table and then said, "It's great that Lupe is allowed to drive with Ramiro. She was really happy." Mercedes nodded. Alvaro didn't say anything for a while until Mercedes suddenly asked "Do you think I'm a robot?" Alvaro almost choked on the food and asked "How did you mean that?"

"Florencia mentioned something like this. I would not show any feelings".

Alvaro got up and sat down next to his mother. "Mom, you are a great mother. Only recently, and especially since Mia has been around, have you been concentrated on hating. You don't like Mia, you don't like Isabel and now you even hate Ramiro. For Lupe and me it is unbearable. "

"But Alvaro, you should understand that I can't accept Mia. And especially not anymore."

"Mom, it's always the same. Mia is not to blame. neither Isabel . She got together with Ramiro when you were seperated. Should it go on forever. I had thought when Mia was with us at Javier, that this is slowly improving. "

"Isabel takes away the last of the remainder that was left to me." said Mercedes.

Alvaro cleared the table and shortly afterwards Lupe was there too. "How was it" asked Alvaro "Very nice, we were in the cinema. Great film. I feel good with Gaspar. How was it with Mama"

"Similar to always. She was calmer but not more insightful. Well, maybe Florencia's words will help if she thinks about it a bit."
