Roberto was in his room when Mia came up again. The conversation with Clara had done him good and he had recovered. Mia briefly told what Alvaro had experienced. "Then I'm glad I did the internship here," said Roberto.
They said goodbye for the night.

Alvaro started early the next morning, but not before Penny was sure that he was okay. At the beginning they had a little girl who had swallowed medication. By the time she was admitted, she was already suffering from severe poisoning. Penny asked Alvaro to take the crying mother to the waiting room under the care of a nurse. They had several emergencies and she needed Alvaro's help.
She stabilized the girl with a series of medication, and Alvaro kept the monitor under surveillance.
She managed to stabilize the girl for the ward and Alvaro was able to deliver the happy message to her mother.

He took her briefly to her daughter, then nurses brought them both to the normal ward. Penny put a hand on Alvaro's shoulder. "If you keep your calm you would become a good doctor." She said with a smile. Alvaro nodded, but then said "I couldn't live with something like yesterday everyday"
"It's not every day, but it happens."

Juanma had the chance to talk to Ari. Ari told him about her life and when she cried Juanna took her in his arms. The girl was only two years younger than him, but had already known hell. She had asked him about his life and Juanma had briefly described that his father had unfortunately passed away.

Clara had withdrawn with Rica in order to work with her a little longer. Juanma had seen her write to Luis twice more, but left it uncommented.

Mia was allowed to help the little girl again in class. When the teacher told the class that Mia was there for the last day, many of them pulled out self-made pictures that they wanted to give Mia as a present. They had the opportunity to draw them  the day before when Mia was on the excursion.

Mia promised to be there at lunch and she had tears in her eyes as the children hugged her and some of them cried.
She should go over to Roberto's group, because that was a part she hadn't seen yet. It was just about when Roberto was talking about himself and what had made him take drugs. He explained how quickly it was possible to lose sight of the line. When he saw Mia, he smiled at her. "And this is one of my best friends, you have already met her. I would not have made it without her and her friends."

Serafina had sewn a top for Zoe. It was a shirt that she had sewn pearls on in Zoe's favorite colors. The pearls were in the shape of a heart. Zoe took Serafina in her arms. Both had tears in their eyes. Serafina said "You brought so much life into here and made me so happy. Come and visit me? Okay?"
Zoe nodded "and if you ever need ideas then give me a call" she said and wiped a tear from the corner of her eye. Serafina laughed and gave Zoe a quick squezze before her parents' car was there.

Mia was having lunch with the little girl from the first evening. She promised to come over with Clara, because Clara was always there when she didn't stay with Roberto. Tom had spoken to Roberto about Clara and had emphasized how glad he was that his family had taken Clara to their hearts.

Juanma and Clara stayed over the lunch break too. Ari wanted to have Juanma's phone number, but Catarina intervened and explained that Juanma had school hisself and that she couldn't just call him. Ari had accepted it and Juanma had quietly told Catarina that she could call him if something happened.

When Roberto and Mia left the orphanage, they left with one laughing and one crying eye. They picked up Clara and Juanma. When Roberto saw Clara standing in front of the school, Mia noticed that he was nervous. She put her hand briefly on his leg and said, "Look, she's smiling, she'll be happy to be able to take you into her arms again."
It also made the impression, because Clara was at the car before the engine was off. Roberto got out and took Clara in his arms. Juanma had come slowly to the car and hugged Mia. "Take a look at them," he said softly. Mia nodded with a smile. They already sat in the back of Roberto's car. Roberto and Clara got in too and Roberto drove them to Ramiro's.

Roberto took Mia in his arms to say goodbye and said "Thanks for everything" Mia nodded. Alvaro was supposed to pick Zoe up from Zoe's parents when he finished work. Ramiro seemed to have arrived shortly before the two of them. He took Mia in his arms and let the two describe their experiences.

When Alvaro and Penny had treated their last patient, Penny said, "I'll miss you, it was fun working with you. You should really think about studying that."
Alvaro nodded "I'll talk to my parents about it" he said.

"Alvaro very important ... you study for your life not for theirs." Alvaro nodded again. He hugged Penny again and Penny said: "You have my number, call me whenever you want to visit me here or if you have any questions." Alvaro smiled at her and said: "I'll do Penny. Take care of you" "You too," she said.
