Alvaro wasn't very convinced that Lupe and Gaspar was a good idea, but left it at that. Zoe was also worried, but rather in the other direction, namely that Lupe could hurt Gaspar.

"Then we can concentrate on the party now," Mia said to change the subject. "Before that we get exams back," said Zoe with slightly mock horror.

"We all managed it with our left hand" laughed Mia.

"We should ask Ramiro about the party if we can help a little this week," said Alvaro and Juanma nodded.

The long day was slowly taking its toll and the four were getting tired. All four fell asleep quickly. When Mia woke up again, Alvaro wasn't there. She looked around the room but didn't see him.

She pulled on a jacket and when she tried to open the door, she found that someone had put something in between so that it would not fall shut. She left it and walked towards the cafeteria, Alvaro was standing in the stairwell by the window. She took him from behind in her arms and said "Why are you awake".

"I couldn't go back to sleep," he said, "and didn't want to wake you up." He turned and hugged Mia too. "Is everything ok" she asked. Alvaro nodded.

He pulled away from her and looked at her. "Just so many thoughts went through my head. I'm still worried about Lupe. Then I hope that our vacation will be without incident. I haven't visited my father for a long time and I'm thinking about how I can accommodate next week . "

Mia took him in her arms again. "We'll go to Javier's together, if that's okay. And we'll get the party ready. We'll just enjoy the vacation." she said. Alvaro nodded. "Everything always sounds so simple with you," he smiled at her.

He took her tightly in his arms again. "I can't even remember how it was without you. You brought so much happiness and love into my life Mia"."That's because I love you more than I've ever loved anyone."

"Let's go back to sleep," she said then.

"Ok" said Alvaro and he let Mia lead him back into the room.

Alvaro called Javier the next day and arranged with him that he and Mia would come over during the week. They wanted to make it up at short notice with a phone call.

Mia asked Ramiro how they were preparing for the party and Ramiro said they just had to bring drinks. Alvaro asked Roberto so that they had two cars for the transport.

The week passed quickly, the girls were already planning their outfit from the middle of the week and on Thursday Mia and Alvaro went to see Javier. He was happy to see the two of them and let them talk about the last few weeks. He was feeling much better, he had now planned a vacation and then he should go back to work.

All the exams had passed, Mia's English had been a little tight, but Alvaro promised to help her a little during the holidays. Mercedes had threatened that the performances would be canceled if they don't make the school subjects. Somewhat unexpectedly, Juanma had written the Spanish exam worse than usual, but that didn't detract from the final grade. For Alvaro, the current certificate would be the college application certificate, but he was very pleased.

Roberto and Alvaro got the drinks on Friday and brought them with Ramiro to the rented location. Both were delighted. It was a room built especially for parties with a large outdoor area. Alvaro looked at the music system and said "Well we can make a lot of noise there" Roberto laughed.

When they got back to school, Mia was in the go with Juanma. They wanted to rehearse some new things and Zoe watched. When Alvaro joined them, the two of them took a break and Alvaro talked about the location. In the evening the girls sat in the gym and watched the boys play basketball. They even let Simon play with them again, who was getting better and better. Alvaro had suggested that he should apply for the team for the next year, but Simon couldn't be persuaded.
