The doctor said goodbye to both of them and said "You can stay another 10 minutes"

Mia and Juanma stood by the bed and Juanma carefully took Florencia's hand. Neither said anything, and after a while Mia took Juanma by the hand and said "We have to go again". He nodded.

When they got out of the hospital, Juanma took a deep breath. Mia took him in her arms. "It will definitely be all right," she said softly.

"I hope so," said Juanma. He turned on his cell phone and got a message from Zoe telling him that they couldn't come to school until Monday because her parents had insisted that she go to a family birthday. She asked Juanma to call her when he read the message.

He briefly shows Mia the message and then called Zoe back. Mia called Alvaro during the time to tell him everything. Alvaro wanted to pick up Dani and Toni because Ramiro had invited them over and offered to pick up Juanma and Mia at the hospital as well.

They agreed to meet at a meeting point that was closer to Alvaro and hung up. Juanma was still talking to Zoe. he tried to reassure her that he was ok, luckily she couldn't see his face over the phone.

He said goodbye to Zoe and came back to Mia. "She can't come because her parents want her to come along. She has tried everything, but her parents are of the opinion that she is often not present at such celebrations." he said a little sadly. Mia squeezed his hand. She knew that it would be important to him now that Zoe was there. Her parents were nice, but sometimes had a different attitude and were not as familiar with the relationship and friendship as Florencia and Ramiro. Neither of them would have acted like that.

They made their way to the meeting point. Alvaro was waiting for them and got out. he took Juanma briefly in his arms and hugged Mia. "Penny answers when she sees the results of the CT. But she cannot open the file too often because the accesses are noted." Juanma nodded. "Tell her thank you for me when you speak to her." Dani and Toni were already waiting in front of their pension. They greeted the three and Alvaro went to Ramiro.

Dani let Mia and Juanma tell her what the doctor had said. "Then we keep our fingers crossed for the CT" said Dani and looked at Juanma encouragingly.

Ramiro had already turned on the grill and was happy that everyone was there. When Juanma explained why Zoe couldn't come. he exchanged a look with Mia.

Mia and Alvaro got dishes and cutlery from the kitchen. Alvaro took Mia tightly in his arms when they were alone. "I heard you were great," he said with a slight smile. Mia nodded. "It was a great atmosphere." she looked down and said "In spite of everything"

"How is he holding up?" asked Alvaro. "It's good but  that Zoe can't be there, it hurts him," she said.

"I know," said Alvaro. Ramiro went into the kitchen and got some things. Together they went to the others. Toni and Dani were really enthusiastic about the performance and said so too. Dani said "It's my birthday soon, can I book you?" "You don't need to book us, we'll come anyway," Mia said with a laugh. It was generally a nice afternoon and Dani managed to get Ramiro to go diving for the next time.

After dinner it was time to drive Dani and Toni to the airport. All three of them wanted to go to bring the two, so the car was full. The two of them didn't have much luggage. Dani took Juanma aside for a moment and said, "I'll keep my fingers crossed that everything will be fine, report if something changes. And try to think positively. If you visit her, talk to her. She'll definitely hear you, even if she  can't answer. "Juanma nodded. "Thank you," he said.

Dani and Toni pressed Mia and Dani said to Alvaro "take care of them both. And say hello to Zoe for us" then they were gone.

The three of them had decided to sleep in school because Ramiro wasn't there on Sunday evening anyway. The plan was for all three to sleep in Mia's room. Juanma asked Alvaro if they could go to the hospital again beforehand.

When they got there, the doctor didn't have time. Juanma wanted to go to his mother and he looked pleadingly at Mia. She went with him. This time no one asked if she was family.

When Juanma took Florencia's hand, he got the impression that she had moved her fingers. When a nurse came to check the monitors, he asked if it was possible and she said, "Yes, she may be waking up slowly. We have turned the sedation down and are waiting for the CT scan. "

Mia thanked her and put her arm around Juanma's shoulder. Then she briefly caressed Florencia's hand. She thought of how kind Florencia had always been to her, and had always stood by her side with words and deeds, and hoped fervently that everything would soon be fine.
