Alvaro and Mia had breakfast on the terrace the next day. "Thanks again for the nice evening" said Mia. "That was so great everything and all the candles".

"We doubted there were candles in this house, but maybe it's Isabel's influence," said Alvaro and they both laughed.

"You remember that we wanted to learn English, don't you?" Alvaro asked with a grin.

"Oh no, we're on vacation." said Mia and pulled a pout. "Did you have an exercise to make over the holliday?"

"I should write an essay about the vacation."

"Classic," laughed Alvaro.

"But I don't want to do that today."

"We won't do either. But now and then write  a few  points. And then we can formulate it at the end of the vacation. Is  there anything you have problems with?"

"With the English language," Mia said with a laugh.

They tidied everything up again and Alvaro had agreed with Juanma that they would now pick them up again at Juanma's. Ramiro and Lupe should come back today and Mercedes and Florencia tomorrow. Ramiro wanted to take Lupe to Javier and stay for dinner so Lupe could develop a closer bond with Javier. The kids wanted to spend the day at Zoe and then be with Ramiro in the evening.

Zoe and Juanma were still having breakfast when Mia and Alvaro arrived. Zoe and Mia fell on each other's necks as if they hadn't seen each other for days. The boys had to laugh. Mia and Zoe were cleaning up the kitchen after breakfast when Alvaro came in and said "Roberto asked if we would like to have a drink with him and Clara tomorrow. They are back from vacation. Juanma said I should ask you" The girls looked at each other and then both nodded. "Don't you have to go through something else for your performance?" asked Zoe.

Mia shook her head. "We only take the usual songs, maybe we'll discuss something later or tomorrow, but that won't be a problem."

They drove back to Zoe, where Dario met them directly. "Juanma, Alvaro, I need your help here again."

"Now let them arrive first, they are not here to work" shouted Carmen from the kitchen. The four looked at each other and laughed. The boys went to Dario, who built a shelf and needed a little help. The girls went to Carmen's kitchen and told them about their evening. "I wish the days with you wouldn't be over" said Carmen and took both girls in her arms. She had baked a cake and planned to have coffee together in the afternoon. The kids packed up their things upstairs and loaded everything into the car, then they sat down with Carmen and Dario.

"Will you be diving again when you go to the beach" asked Carmen. "I was glad that Zoe only told me here". The four grinned and shrugged. "Alvaro definitely," said Zoe, "he couldn't stop talking about diving." Everyone laughed and Alvaro stuck his tongue out at Zoe.

When Ramiro got home, he looked relaxed. He told a lot about Gaspar and Lupe and he emphasized that the two had slept in separate rooms. When Alvaro looked at Mia and they both laughed, Ramiro said "I know you always swapped rooms" he nudged Alvaro. "I once was  young too."

"How was Lupe now with Javier?" asked Alvaro.

"It was ok, Javier tried very hard not to let the conversation end and she talked a lot about the vacation. Both were tired now and so I said goodbye," said Ramiro.

They sat together for a while, then Ramiro said goodbye for the night. The four of them went to bed soon after. They were most used to Ramiro's apartment and felt most at home there.

Mia said to Alvaro "I'm looking forward to Roberto and Clara tomorrow. It seems to be going well with both of them. Zoe was right about that" Alvaro had to laugh. "It will be a nice evening for sure." he said. Mia snuggled into his arms. "The best evening was yesterday." she said and gave him a kiss. Alvaro took a deep breath, satisfied. That was his goal. To make Mia happy. It had been a really nice and very intense evening.

The next morning, Ramiro had some paperwork to attend to when Isabel called. Ramiro accepted the call with a smile. "Hello Isabel, how are you?" "Very good and you?" "Fine, too I look forward to seeing you again soon."

"That's what I was getting at," said Isabel. "Have you a lot of work?"

"No,  why."

"I thought I'd come a few days early if that's okay."

"Sure that's ok, that is more than ok, when did you want to be here."

"Sunday. Then we can start Wednesday with the kids"

"Very nice Isabel, I'm really looking forward to it." When Ramiro hung up, Alvaro was standing in the room, "You laugh so happily," he said with a wink.

"Isabel is coming on Sunday," he said and Alvaro showed thumbs up. They talked about Lupe and Gaspar for a while, and Ramiro said he hoped Mercedes would do  the holiday with Florencia very well . "Lupe told me a lot, I've kept Javier out of that so far, but he'll have to intervene if things get worse."
