Zoe was already expecting the three. "And what's the matter with you?" She asked Juanma.

"I said it was nothing," said Juanma with a grin. "Just an appendix irritation."
"Well, it's not only "just" said Alvaro.

Simon sat in the cafeteria with school supplies. When Mia looked at him questioningly. "he's been sitting all over the time on the books. He's afraid of not going through the exams" said Zoe
"Oh yes ... they'll be soon too" moaned Mia.
"To be more precise, the first in three days," said Simon with a desperate undertone.

Alvaro said to Mia "I'll just go to Ramiro and tell him about the vacation" Mia nodded with a smile. When Alvaro got back it was almost dinner. After dinner they went to Zoe and Mia's room together. Alvaro also told Zoe and Juanma that he was allowed to go on the vacation. They sat together for a while. The next days would be exhausting again. But now they had a good perspective: the vacation. Ramiro had promised that he would book the house immediately.

Mia lay in Alvaro's arms. She loved to feel his presence. Juanma and Zoe had also lay down on Zoe's bed.

The next morning, Ramiro called Mia and Juanma over. "The disco would like you both to perform together with Gaspar on Saturday. Gaspar has probably already agreed." Mia looked at Juanma. He nodded almost imperceptibly and Mia said yes. "Ok then I'll confirm the appointment," said Ramiro.

Are you okay with the performance?" Mia asked when they were at the door.

"That with Gaspar was great ... so spontaneous. But I'd rather have a planned gig with you alone"

"I know, but maybe it's fun again," said Mia

Juanma nodded.

The others celebrated the two for the performance. Fede immediately said he would definitely spend the evening at the disco and several others joined in.

They had to go to class. After the first lesson, Juanma ran across Alvaro and said "Do you get that many sheets of paper, too? I don't even know when we should work on all of this"

Alvaro held up a thick folder. "It's no different with us."

After class, Zoe, Mia, and Juanma met in the cafeteria. They had all school supplies with them. Juanma and Mia roughly planned the performance. They built in some songs that they were sure to not need as much training time. Mia then sent the list to Gaspar. Gaspar had agreed to plan the program so that Juanma and Mia could concentrate on school matters.

Alvaro had driven to the hospital with Lupe. Javier took both children in his arms. Lupe told him about the camping trip. Javier was happy that the children had so much fun.

Alvaro told Javier about Mia's upcoming performance. Javier said "I would like to be there at one of the next gigs. If you let old men like me into the disco," he added with a grin.

"We'll manage that," said Alvaro.

Lupe took a deep breath and said, "Mia has a special song. It is from Ramiro and her mother. It's something very special." Alvaro looked a little surprised at his sister.

Lupe felt the look and said "Yes, that's the way it is". J

Javier looked from one to the other. "Are you getting along better with Mia?" he asked Lupe. He could still remember how Lupe had been with him when Alvaro was at the seaside with Mia and Ramiro.

"I ..." she took a short breath. "... get used to it" With a look at Alvaro, she said "Since she's been with Alvaro, he's been feeling much better. She's doing him incredibly well. And she has also changed Juanma. And maybe "... she paused again for a short time" she changes me too. "

Alvaro put his hand on Lupe's arm and said very quietly "You just have to let it happen"

Javer nodded and said, "I've also learned a lot in the last few months. There are still a few things I will learn. I'm happy to see you both united."

After dinner, Mia and Juanma had arranged to meet in the GO. Juanma started some music so she could warm up.

"It's great that Alvaro  has received the approval for the vacation." Mia said.

"I hope that Mercedes doesn't change something about that." said Juanma. Mia nodded.

Mia noticed that Juanma was moving cautiously at times. "Are you in pain again?"

" No, not at the moment." he said. He started a song for the gig and they started rehearsing. Gaspar was supposed to come  on Thursday evening so that the show could be planned a bit.

The rehearsal went well, after a while Zoe and Alvaro came over and watched. After the rehearsal, they went to Zoe and Mia's room. Zoe and Mia went over a few texts for their English exam this week. " Do you  already know all of this?" Asked Zoe Juanma.

"I'll look over it again tomorrow, we still have one day left."

Even if  for the boys it was hard , they went to their rooms for the night. Fede and Nico were still together, talking about the camping trip. It was a lot of fun. Fede said to Juanma "I laughed so much with Mia on the treasure hunt" Juanma grinned. He enjoyed everything as it was. He had his friends, he had Zoe, he was no longer fighting anyone.

"Buddy, we'll be there again on Saturday when you perform. Will Mia sing her song again?" said Nico

"That remains our secret" said Juanma with a grin "A little something must still be surprising"

Mia and Zoe also talked a bit: "We could sleep with the boys and it didn't attract any attention on the trip." said Zoe.

Mia nodded and said "If Ramiro had noticed, he wouldn't have said anything, but I wasn't sure about Marcello or Manu."

"Marcello wouldn't have said anything either. When I was with Juanma, he was really nice. I think he's happy that everything is going so well with Juanma and that he now accepts the relationship between him and Florenzia."
