The next morning Mia handed in her English essay and after a quick scan, the teacher raised her eyebrows. "At first glance, it looks very good Mia. I'm looking forward to reading it." Mia smiled in relief.

In Go, Alex had different constellations of groups and songs rehearsed. "You all have a lot of potential. I try to find as many opportunities as possible to be prepared for anything. I can assure you that you are all doing really well."

After the workshop, the school for the students ended. Alvaro pulled Mia away from the other. "let's go for a walk," he said to her. They went to the park and walked hand in hand down the path

"Why did you think so much yesterday," Mia asked. Alvaro thought for a moment." I have the feeling that I am only concerned with my family at the moment. "

"There is a lot that falls on you there. And I can understand that that concerns you. You were there yesterday and that was really good for me." Mia said. "I would like to be able to help you more. But I can 't talk to Mercedes "

"You help me so much Mia. Just because you're there."

Mia nodded. "I will always try to be there for you. To be strong for you as you are for me. No matter what, we master things together."

Alvaro took Mia in his arms. "You don't believe how happy you make me," he said. "Without you, I couldn't have endured so much of this."

"And yet I keep thinking about what else I can do. How I can help you. How I can help your family. And I want you to talk to me when something is wrong."

Alvaro nodded. "I'll do that too". He took her in his arms again. It was a nice feeling to know that Mia belonged to him. He felt comfortable and safe with her. But he was afraid that she would think again that his family's situation was her fault. "Will you promise me something?" He asked. Mia nodded. Mia stroked his back. "I want to be able to do so much more for you. I would give anything to share your worries with you and to put them out of the world together."

"I know MIa, I would love to take you home with me. To spend a nice evening with Lupe and Mama. Maybe with Gaspar too. It hurts that I can't do that. And I know that  it also hurts you to feel this rejection. But I don't know what I can do about it. I mean Mercedes is my mother, I can't banish her from my life. "

"You shouldn't do that either. Somehow we'll get it all out. And who knows, maybe one day we'll all sit together and remember it and be happy that it's different then."

Alvaro nodded. " I hope so"

They slowly walked back because it was time for dinner. While the students were eating, Ramiro had gone to see Mercedes. They wanted to talk about the internships.
