When they were in their room, Mia snuggled close to Alvaro. She was exhausted from the day's events.

"Do you think our heart on the beach will still be there tomorrow?" asked Alvaro. "We'll check it tomorrow," Mia said with a smile. "It must have been washed firmly in the sand"

"Was everything ok with Juanma?"

"He was  a little sad, he was thinking about his father, old memories came back." Alvaro took her in his arms. "I suspected it, so I told Zoe to give you a little more time."

"Thank you," Mia said and turned to him.

"Did you see Ramiro and Isabel today" asked Alvaro.

"Yes, they were watching us."

"Ramiro looks very happy." said Alvaro. "It's nice to see him like that."

Mia nodded. "I think my mom I would be happy to see him like this."

"Is Isabel like your mother?"

"Mhm..Yes..no .." that's hard to say. My mother was unique. And Isabel is in her own way. She was always there, took the time for everything and made sure that nothing was missing. I really love her very much. "

"You can tell that too," said Alvaro. Mia snuggled into his arm again. "Do you think we'll see dolphins on the boat tour?"

"There are areas here where they stay more often. If we are very lucky, then maybe." said Alvaro.

He tried to concentrate on Mia's breath and her warmth, relax and fall asleep. Mia had snuggled up against him and was stroking his stomach.

Isabel let the four of them go to diving the next day with mixed feelings, but Mia had assured that everyone would stay together and that there was no way to get lost on a reef.

Toni and Dani had already prepared everything. Dani took Alvaro aside and said "I checked yesterday's bottle because it was empty much faster than the others. The valve is not ok. I'm sorry, we should have seen that."

"Who knows what it was good for. It quickly became apparent that Mia was no longer with the group."

"How did she cope with that?" asked Dani.

"Better than me," said Alvaro and smiled.

"Are you fit for today?"

"Sure," said Alvaro.

Somebody dived in and got stuck. The Aquario guys are there, but there is no oxygen and Nando said you were the right one to .. "Dani nodded briefly, looked at Alvaro and said" I'm ready to go. "

"We're going to go out together now, behind the rocky edge to a reef. Dani was called for an emergency, but he comes later. The maximum depth is 13 meters."

When everyone was in the boat Zoe said to Toni, "Why does Dani have to go to an emergency "

Toni looked out to sea for a moment. "Dani is one of the best divers I know. He used to be a rescue diver."

"Dani is my brother. He has been diving for as long as I can remember, we always said he was born with an oxygen cylinder. He was called as a rescue diver to a boat accident. Two boats had collided and people had sunk in the wrecks. The troops were on the spot very quickly and they managed to save 2 out of 5 people. Dani had quickly recognized on the wreck that it was the boat of one of our best friends. The boat was deep and he risked everything and did everything  to rescue him from the wreck as well. But it was too late. It took Dani a long time to suppress these images. "

The group said nothing. "Don't talk  to him about it. Ok? He doesn't really like to talk about it."

You could see boats at the place where the wreck lay. Alvaro hoped Dani would succeed.

They had arrived at the point where they were going to dive. "It's a long reef. You can dive in groups of two, I leave the division up to you today. You are now trained," he added with a smile. "The groups of two stay together, but you can't lose sight of each other down there . "

His gaze went to the wreck in the distance. "As always, pay attention to your ads and I would say we'll be back up in 30 minutes at the latest."

The sea was calm, you could see for miles. Alvaro dived with Mia, Juanma with Zoe, but the four stayed together anyway. Juanma very carefully touched a coral. A very small fish came out and immediately hid again. Toni had explained to them that they should keep their fins away from the reef in order not to destroy the corals.

Alvaro caught a frantic movement out of the corner of his eye. Sergio had dived to a crevice and looked into it. Something had come out briefly and gone again. Toni indicated to him to keep his distance.

They swam calmly over the reef, it was amazing how many small creatures had a home there. Zoe stayed very close to Juanma, and after a while showed that she wanted to go up. Juanma swam with her to the boat.

They climbed in. "Are you scared" he said to her. "I was cold now, and something was with Sergio."

They could see a rescue helicopter on the beach. Juanma saw that Dani was coming towards them with his boat.

He moored the boats and asked "Don't you want to dive?"

"Zoe was freezing", said Juanma.

Toni appeared. " All ok?"

Dani looked at the beach. "Remains to be seen. The oxygen was empty and I don't know how long. We got him back but ..." he looked again at the rescue helicopter.

"Come on, Juanma, we'll go down again," he said then and looked at Zoe questioningly. Zoe nodded.

"What does your oxygen say?" Asked Toni. "Fits," Dani said shortly, looking at the display.
