Javier and Ramiro had arranged a meeting for after the vacation with Mercedes. At first, Javier had been able to persuade Mercedes to stay calm and let Lupe enjoy the rest of the vacation. Mercedes herself still had a few things to arrange for the start of school, because the audition for the GO workshop was again on the first day after the holidays and she met Alex beforehand.

Javier had offered Lupe to do a few things with her, and if he had time to take Gaspar too. Alvaro was happy about the plans, because he hoped that he and Ramiro would have some rest on vacation.

Dani had made a very nice suggestion to Mia, he had said they could have the boat on Thursday evening, he would steer it to a nice place, secure it there and go back with Toni in one of the small boats. She and Alvaro could then enjoy a wonderful dinner in the middle of the sea with sunset and call him when they wanted to go back. Mia was thrilled. She agreed and was looking forward to enjoying this with Alvaro.

The time until the vacation began passed calmly and fortunately quickly and all six were happy to be on the plane.

On site they were given two rental cars again and then they could drive to the house. "The house becomes more beautiful every time we are here," Alvaro said with a grin to the others.

They weren't there long this time so it didn't take much to set up, the boys went shopping with Ramiro and Isabel and the girls went to the beach. Mia told Isabel about Dani's proposal and Isabel was delighted. "But food has to be prepared, the two of them can't do everything," said Zoe. "Dani wanted to order some things and I'll give him the money back," Mia said.

Ramiro and the boys were back, Isabel and the girls conjured up a quick meal. The plumber was supposed to come the next day, so the landlord was glad that someone was in the house. They let the evening end after dinner on the beach and enjoyed the relaxation. Alvaro had left his cell phone in the room. He told the others that they had just stopped by the diving school and Toni said that they should come together on Friday and that they shouldn't plan anything else during the day. Alvaro's voice almost cracked with enthusiasm. "But they didn't want to say what they wanted to do with us." he said.

They sat together for a while until Juanma said "Are the holidays really almost over?" The other three put their fingers to their lips and said "PSSSSSST, we still have vacation". Everyone laughed. "The good thing is we're still all together." said Zoe. Mia became quiet. "But only for this school year" she said with a sad undertone. Juanma said "Oh come on, the one year that you two are apart. Don't talk about it too much, or Alvaro will make sure to repeat the year" again everyone laughed. Alvaro put his hand on Mia's hand and said "I'll be there so often that you will ask me to stay at the university" he said softly, but still audible for everyone. "As long as you don't dispute my place as captain, it doesn't matter to me, captain", Juanma said with a laugh and patted Alvaro on the shoulder.

"I'll talk to Marcello," said Alvaro.

"I think my mother has a better chance," said Juanma and Alvaro laughed.

"Are you as excited about the new students as I? "Asked Zoe.

" If there are nice girls there, "said Juanma, which earned him a pat from Zoe.

" I'll lock you up on the first day of school. Except for Nico, none of you have anything to do there, "she said with a laugh.

They fooled around for a while and Isabel and Ramiro sat on the terrace and watched them. "Are you okay," asked Isabel. "Yes, everything is ok. I'm just reviewing the year. What happened in the last year. One more daughter, one less daughter, a new lady by my side, beautiful things, not-so-beautiful things."

Isabel smiled and put her head on Ramiro's shoulder. "We still have a few things to take care of, but I would be happy to be by your side for anything beautiful and not so beautiful." she said softly. Ramiro nodded. "I ask you to," he said. "It feels good to know you with me. I missed you, the few days we were seperated. We shouldn't let it be too many," he said with a grin. Isabel took his hand tighter again and said, "That's what I was about to say too."

The kids came up on the terrace and sat down with Isabel and Ramiro a little longer. Mia was happy to see both of them so happy. She laid her head on Alvaro's shoulder in syncron with Isabel on Ramiros and thought about her mother and Ramiro. Did they have dreams of the future in the short time? She wanted nothing more than to stay with Alvaro forever, to make Isabel and Ramiro proud grandparents and to be happy. Alvaro took her in his arms. "What are you thinking about?" He asked softly in her ear. "Akout  us," she said and returned his hug.
