Zoe and Juanma went to the cafeteria. Simon and Fede sat there with Sofie. "Hey at least one of our star basketball players is back," said Fede with a laugh. Zoe and Juanma sat down with them. "I wanted to throw a few balls," said Fede, "but somehow there was none left, so I wanted to play with Simon. "
"You go ahead, I still have to do something," said Juanma, winked at Zoe and left the cafeteria. "He wants to look after Mia, she was at her mother's grave," Zoe said softly.
Juanma found Mia in Go, where she was lost in thought and heard her mother's song. He walked up to her slowly and took her hand. " Are you OK?" he asked when she gave him a startled look. She nodded, but he could see traces of tears on her cheeks. He took her in his arms and said nothing for a while. He noticed that she was crying. When her breathing became more even again, he pushed her away from him slightly." better "he asked softly. Mia nodded." It always gets a little better. "said Juanma.
"But ... why is it so bad, I mean she hasn't been with us for so long and still ..."
"You were only close to her in the memories. Now after a long time you have visited another place where you feel close to her. Sometimes the feelings overwhelm you," said Juanma.
"We made the grave beautiful," Mia said softly. Juanma nodded. He took her in his arms again. "It is important that you always keep her in mind. She will always take care of you. Who knows, maybe my father and your mother take care of us together."
Mia nodded. "That's a nice thought," she said, pulling away from him.
"I only had this song. The song and the scarf. Now I have a place to think about her," she said.
"You can think of her anywhere Mia. In our minds they will always be with us."
"I want to plant flowers on the grave," said Mia. "She loved roses."
"That shouldn't be a problem," said Juanma. "Alvaro was with you?"
"Yes, he was there. Luckily, but he's sad. The thing with Mercedes gives him a hard time, he compares his family to mine and somehow both families are connected through Ramiro. I always have the feeling that I've stolen something from him. I tried not to let him see my tears so much. I know how much it hurts him. But he was sad too. "
Juanma understood. The situation wasn't easy for Alvaro either. He took Mia in his arms again. "But you know that you are more important to him than his situation at home, don't you?" "Yes, that's it, I wanted ..."
"... not to worry him any more," Juanma completed the sentence. " That is also OK"
"Does it really get better with every visit," Mia asked.
"It hasn't gotten better for me for a long time. Actually, only when I could talk about it. Now I haven't been there since the day you found me there even though I think of my father every day. "
Mia nodded. "I can go with you again if you want."
Juanma smiled at her. "That would be nice. You can understand the thoughts that go through my head. Zoe and Alvaro can't do that."
Alvaro had meanwhile found Zoe in the cafeteria. "Where are Juanma and Mia" he asked. "In the Go" replied Zoe. "Juanma wanted to check on her." Alvaro nodded. "My mother intercepted me. But it is good that he is with her. He can best understand how she is doing." Zoe nodded and took his hand, "What about your mother?"
"The usual, she wanted to know what I thought of the idea of the internship and she wanted to know if I was with Mia lower this afternoon. I told her we were out for a walk, but nothing from the cemetery."
Juanma had persuaded Mia in Go to rehearse a performance. He knew from personal experience that singing and dancing always helped. She agreed. They took a song by Charlie Martin. At first Mia was still a little bit in thought, but over time she became more and more relaxed.
They were so deep in their performance that they hardly noticed that Alvaro and Zoe had come to them.
When the song ended, they sat down on the floor together. "I'm looking forward to the next gig," Mia said while resting her head on Alvaro's lap. Juanma nodded.
They stayed in the GO rooms for a while and then went to Zoe and Mia's rooms. the boys decided to stay with the girls overnight. When Mia's cell phone rang and Ramiro's name was on the display, she left the room briefly to make a call.
"Sorry that I couldn't come with you," he said. "I hope it wasn't too difficult for you." "It was a bit difficult Papa, but we have already cleared the grave. Alvaro was with me and Isabel."
"Then we'll do the rest together, ok my darling?"
"We'll do that, Papa," said Mia. She said goodbye to Ramiro and went back to the others.
Ramiro hung up and stopped for a moment with the phone in hand. Then he made his way to the car and drove home to Isabel.
